Anime/Manga 2023 Anime & Manga Challenge

I got stuck writing a review for one set of shows and then everything piled up into a backlog lmao.

I watched Seasons 3-6 of Inuyasha
I finished Cowboy Bebop as well!

7/12 for anime

I also read Tokyo Ghoul! Hoping to purchase the 2nd volume soon!

Will see if I can actually finish a challenge but I've been wanting to get back into watching/reading more.

For anime I will say 5 series and for manga I'll set a tentative goal of 75 volumes since I tend to read things much faster than I watch. I also tend to read longer series with a lot of volumes so hopefully it will work out? I'm not sure if I'm being overly ambitious but I guess I will find out...

Will see if I start a seperate thread on PC but otherwise I'll be keeping track on this post/my own MAL :'D

At first I was going to go for five because that seemed like a safe number, then I thought of being ambitious and choosing 10 series to watch. However, I think I'll just go with a little ambitious and try to watch 8 this year. Four animes that I'm excited to check out are Jujutsu Kaisen, the new season of Bleach, and Dr. Stone: Ryusui, and Blue Lock!

Oh man, this is exactly what I needed to get myself motivated again. Once I get past being sick I'm planning on picking some more series up. Will aim for 15 series! Got so, so many I want to watch.

Well. I'm currently sitting at 332 volumes so let's bump up my goal to 500 to actually (maybe) make it a challenge...!

I have watched a few more shows since my last check in, and will probably be doing another lightning round of reviews in the next week or two. I then have a few months off of work so I'll be blitzing through the last half of the shows I need to watch for my yearly quota :)

I also concluded Sasaki to Miyano

Okay, I really did fail this miserably, finishing only 2 animes. I started bunch of them, but nothing really caught my attention. And if it did, it was so low on my priority list that I didn't find a time to finish it and dropped it after some time. Sorry for failing and not being active in this challenge as in my gaming challenge.

Well I definitely met my manga goal. I also definitely and definitively did not meet my anime goal. Which is not the way around I thought this would go.

I think I managed 20 volumes of manga all year. 528 is incredible!!!

In terms of anime, I met my goal! 12/12 exactly!
