Day #21: An overrated movie
Absolutely Frozen. It was okay, but aside from Let it Go, I didn't like any of the songs. I didn't like the characters (I actually actively disliked most of them--like wtf was the point of Olaf?), the storytelling was awkward and all over the place, and I just... I don't understand why it got so much attention? I'm fine with the little kids loving it because everyone latches onto stuff when they're young, but I don't understand why so many people my age got obsessed with it. Part of me assumes it's just because now it's cool to like things you liked as a kid, so maybe Disney is coming into another renaissance, but why aren't more people excited about better recent movies like Tangled or Big Hero 6? It's baffling to me.

Gonna be brutally honest here, but Up. The film starts off on a rather depressing note and I don't really feel quite as much out of it as I should. It doesn't help that the guy who's looked up to early on turns out to be a jerk. But there is still stuff to like about it, i'll give it that. (I REALLY didn't want to put Frozen or The Incredibles here...)
 
Day #22: An underrated movie (I've been waiting for this day)

It's Time to go into "The Wonderful World of Disney" territory and go to the movie "Balloon Farm", yes it may be cheesy and stars Mara Wilson, but it's a touching movie in my opinion and the ending gets me almost every time :')

I'll go with Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I never see people talking about it even though it's one of my favourite Disney movies. :( I love the characters, the plot is intriguing, and I really enjoy it every time I watch it. But I don't think it was ever marketed that much so a lot of people haven't seen it and even if they did... it came out at the end of Disney's mainly hand-animated era, I think, so it just didn't get the attention it deserved, imo. (It did get a sequel but oohhh my god I don't think I've ever seen a movie so bad.)
 
Day #22: An underrated movie

I don't know how many people remembered the 2005 animated adaption of Chicken Little, but I thought that one was interesting. It was goofy, and sometimes a little over the top, but I still enjoyed it, mostly for the quirks of the characters present. The whole "the sky is falling" theme did have me on board.

The Toy Story Movies (they all have their funny moments :))

To pick another film that I don't know how many here remember, I really enjoyed Meet the Robinsons. One part of that which made me laugh very hard was when Lewis was running from Tiny the dinosaur, and it couldn't eat him because it had a big head and little arms. Classic. xP

Oh, and throw that one as an honorable mention for an underrated movie.
 
Day #24: A movie that makes you cry

I really don't have any, but I do have moments IN movies that almost made me tear up though, like the ending to Toy Story 3 or in Frozen for Olaf says "Some People are worth melting for" but that was more of a happy tear for when I D'awwed :3

Frozen!!!!! We allllll know people like it mainly because of Let it Go.

Day #22: An underrated movie

The Fox and the Hound. It was just a really cute movie from what I can remember.

Day #23: A movie that makes you laugh

Pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney movie right...? If it is then that's my choice.
 
Day #24: A movie that makes you cry

I think i'm going to go with Cinderella, if only because that one scene with the glass slipper coming off and her being left behind was just tragic for me. The fact that she had those evil stepsisters doesn't help.

I wasn't going to be unoriginal and pick Toy Story 3, or any other movie I already mentioned for that matter, so yeah.
 
Day #25: Your favorite scene from your favorite movie

Probably Toy Story with the interaction of Mr. Potato Head, Hamm and Tour Guide Barbie :p
 
Day 24. A movie that makes you cry. When I first saw Brother Bear, when Sitka died, it was pretty sad (almost as much as Mufasa's death in The Lion King), but I didn't necessarily cry.

Day 25. Favorite Scene from favorite movie. The Lion King, particularly The Circle of Life. Also, the Transformation scene from Brother Bear was really well done, so it's a close second.

Enchanted. It's such a charming movie and a lot of it is so ridiculous that you can't help but laugh.

Day #24: A movie that makes you cry
Everything.

Uuummm I guess I'll say Up because the opening sequence makes me ugly cry everytime whereas most other movies just make my eyes watery, with maybe an occasional tear shed.

Day #25: Your favorite scene from your favorite movie
In Tangled, the scene where they arrive in the capital city and you just get a montage of Rapunzel interacting with the people, Flynn taking her places she'd like, and so on. The music that goes with it is great too and the whole scene just makes me really happy.
 
Day #25: Your favorite scene from your favorite movie

There are a handful of favorite movies I have, but i'll take the scene in The Lion King where Simba takes on Scar and has him knocked off the cliff and shredded by the hyenas. Simba was so full of power and ferocity in that scene, and his taking his title as kingdom ruler again really made him stand out.

For an honorable mention, Aladdin taking Jasmine on a magic carpet ride with A Whole New World being performed.

The only one I can think of is Mufasa's death from The Lion King

Mufasa's death in The Lion King. Bar none. This is one of the most iconic death scenes in any movie. Ever. When Simba realizes his father is no more thanks to that vicious stampede, it's just painful to watch and unbelievably crazy to believe. Even today i'm sure there are people who can't deny that it's tragic. It doesn't help at all that Simba is tricked by his uncle into believing that his father's death is his fault, and what unfolds from there. It is no question a scene i'm sure will always be remembered and takes my pick for the saddest death in any Disney movie.
