4th Gen A G/S Remake?

I doubt it could be any kind of spinoff game of sorts. It will be big and it will be mainstream. And only 2 mainstream games are possible at this point of time. And one is sure for coming sooner then later. And that is gs remakes. Unless they magically come up with a 5th gen from nowhere.

Yeah, and even then, I don't think we need any more Pokemon for a while...I mean, 493? And they are all becoming too similar.

But GSDS is the best bet, especially with all the hinting in D/P/Pt at Johto, with all the people talking about it and the ragecandy bars being out in the Veilstone Department store
 
And new figurines in mid September of the 3 starters and evolutions.

Yeah, so I don't see where they would be going with this is it isn't GSDS. But we'll just have to wait and see...

Haha, that wouldn't be too bad. As long as it only uses the first 250 Pokemon
 
I was being mildly sarcastic but uh okay. Anyway starting time to guess what will be showed first if its a gs remake. I honestly believe we will see a trailer first on PS then an article with features and artwork in CC and ND will be basically a recap of both.

Oh, by other region I thought you meant they would make something of the Orange Islands...Haha

I think we will get a confirmation of the remakes and probably some screenshots. An article wouldn't be that bad, either, I just need to find a really good translator.
 
Screenshots the first route or so in new graphics and art. A trailer would be nice for confirmation but in Pokemon when has that happened? XD

Good point. I wish they would announce it tomorrow instead of NEXT Sunday. But then again, there's the time we will have to wait for it to come out...

What i think - if this is all GSDS - is a resounding

TOOT TOOT! As the magnet train leaves off, then, it shows Goldenrod City, the tin tower, and all the rest of it.

A small boy awakens for his first Pokemon, and scrawled across the screen in giant, bold letters:

Get ready for a classic adventure brought to the DS - in Japanese of course -

It then - this part isnt in game gamelpay btw - Ho-oh, Lugia, and Celebi fly around the tin towers, and the legendary beasts circle Johto.

The camera zooms out, as you see Kanto and Johto joined, Totodile Chikorita and Cyndaquil appear in the centre, and then, - if these happen to be the titles -

Pokemon DuskGold and DawnSilver, only on Nintendo DS...

Boy, that was detailed.. :P

Well, thats if its a trailer, if its not a trailer - im doubting its a trailer, to be honest - Just a simple article in CoroCoro.

Oh freakin' Arceus. That big new better be a G/S/C remake. Because honestly? If they make a remake of those game, I'm definately going to preorder them once the release date it out for America. G/S/C has always been my favorite, and I would die in happiness if this big news are the remakes.

I really hope this next week goes by fast. Like... really fast.

ohmygoshhh. Next week is probably going to be the longest week I'll have this year. >.> It better be GSDS, or I will explode.
 
Now this, this has potential. I am surprised if it is the GS remake announcement given it's before Platinum has been anywhere, but... seems a touch too big. I'll just try not too get excited.

But for what else it could be... hmm. Ranger 3 - could be, but one would think this too small a thing really... unlikely, IMO. 5th gen - again I doubt - that's way less likely to be announced before Platinum has been everywhere than a GS remake and all, and arguably the DS still has a good few years left - there's a decent chance the next gen would be on the next handheld. It is possible, but I find it unlikely. (And I wouldn't care much if that was the case as IMO the next gen WILL happen sooner or later.

Perhaps a new game for the Wii? This I feel is more likely than the previous two, and it is a chance, even if such a thing would be made by Genius Sonority rather than Game Freak, and there was been no hints for that other than that they were trusted with PBR, and they have on their website something about a game that they are making which cannot yet be revealed. But it seems to me that a GS remake being confirmed is the more likely outcome, especially when suddenly even more stuff filters through:

Yeah... a GS remake being announced is no certainty by far, but this time I feel there is a good chance for it, rather than certain previous times. IMO a GS remake will happen some time, although of course things go wrong, but here's hoping for it. But I'll be keeping myself unexcited just in case, because I'm like that. -_-
 
It seems more likely than the other times. But I think if it's not G/S,it a continuation of the Colusseum/XD Series. I don't see why they would continue with the PBR series. PBR was pretty suckish.
