4th Gen A G/S Remake?

The beasts in LG FR have preprogramed low IVs. Lugia and Ho-oh should not be some kind of super rare event legendaries, but the kind that groudon,kyo and palkia/dialga are...

Yeah, that's the another point. It's not about game, it's about money you can get.

You mean one-off's in the games right?
 
I'd love to have a remake.
Knowing Nintendo, they will follow that path.
In the end, it's more money in their pockets.

I expect Hoenn remake after the Johto one is release... And after Hoenn remake is release, then it's Sinnoh's turn...=]
 
Just wondering, has anyone noticed the guy who mentions Mt. Moon in Kanto?
 
I was kind of hoping that Jasmine would take over Sunnyshore's gym in Platinum. Though, with the DSi coming out without a GBA slot I believe a G/S remake is inevitable.

I believe you are talking about the man in a hotel at Lake Valor, right? The main point of that is, he mentioned the 'Clefairy Dance', which is one of the event on GSC on during Mondays at 9PM.

So if a gs remake does come out i wonder something. Blue from fr/lg wasnt exactly new. To the games yes but she was part of the whole franchise of pokemon in the manga. So really she could havwe been in the first ever games. Now in this case no one can exactly randomly pop up but still be from the region and have been somewere else except in game. So would could take up that spot i wonder. I really do. Anyweh to answer your questions:

1. Yes i would like it very so. But lets not forget. In sinnoh the story of jhoto takes place the same time as the events of jhoto. How so in sinnoh should be steel old and in jhoto new? Exactly why i say follow up is a sure one. Heck i would love it if dawn/lucas/damion all travel to jhoto kanto cause jasmine invited them. And with snazzy jhoto clothes.
2/. Well besides the lower screen obligatorilly going to the pokegear i wouldnt say much would be new. Except the fact that the bottom screen could have a color screen pokegear. I then would spin 100 timesd in hapiness. Um rthe gyms would get major updates for sure. Bugsy could have a potential epic team if corrected a bit. So could jasmine and morty and well everyone. Kanto i say will stay out and they would add some new but currently no new pokemon in it region. It would count as a region but not a 5th gen region. Say a second 4th gen region.

Thats about it really and ib would hop it does happen.

So yeah. I believe in all that.
 
WAIT JUST A BIG FAT SECOND! that also means we MAY get frlg remales! man, I was sorta dissapointeed with some things, such as Getting Teddiurasa and other fairly powerful GSC's from a cave that you could go into any time, but the Pokemon weren't there (except zubat, like lv 7) until you went to A ninty event. Nintendo's so mean sometimes! who would go all the way to New York and Who-knows-where-land inside of New York just to get a stupid Teddiursa? We're all strong Pokemon fan's here, but who would go to NEW YORK for one? And also, they needed time :(
 
I hope hope hope hope HOPE that there will b a gs remake. *off topic*I hav a question. can dsi games be played on the ds? because if they can't and GSDS is on the dsi, that would suck!!!! because I really really really want 2 play the jhoto, but only hav a ds lite. so then it would suck cuz I couldn't play GSC or the remake...*cries* that would be sooooo sad. I would have 2 actually convince my mom 2 buy me the dsi...and it took forever to just get the ds.*end off topic* I hope the gs remake has kanto. and it has viridian, safari, etc. Even though I've never played gsc I got the impression the kanto part was kind of bad...

... it doesn't mean it will happen though. It's something to consider, yes, but rather small in comparison to other pieces of 'evidence'. And inviting protagonist/characters from Sinnoh to Johto? Meh, but I do not really see a point...

As in, updates gym leader teams after becoming the Champion? Perhaps. .. but if there's no Kanto - where will the Pokemon league be? And what would the point be of a new region instead? Don't really see the point of that... and Nintendo are far more liekly in keeping a new region onder covers for a separate game.

...don't quote me, but I wouldn't think so, IF it included DSi functions by and large... :/ but there could be functions that will only work on a DSi, but not the others, with the game itself working?
But if it's called a DSi game, I would say no.

But I wouldn't worry - looking at it from a marketable (and Nintendo's) POV - they would be far more likely to sell a game that can be played by all DS users, rather then one kind of DS, as that would in the end get them more $$$. Not many would want to by a DSi for the sake of one game, no matter how popular. Plus I really don't see any point to have it DSi exclusive - the camera function with a Pokemon game (not Snap) doesn't seem to mix feasibly, IMO.

Good chance it has safari, unless they opt not to use it... Interesting tidbits - the Safari zone IS in the game, with programming and the maps and all - but they removed the door to it. It was because, most likely, due to the 'Glitch city' glitch in RBY - one in which if you left the Safari zone after saving within it, then the time (steps) would still keep counting despite you being outside of Safari zone, resulting in it telling that your time is up once the steps are completed. This ended up taking you to 'Glitch city' - world of jumbled pieces of buildinsg and whatnot... (More here, if interested). Anyway, they clearly wanted to do away with the glitch, so they simply closed the Safari zone. In following games - they fixed it by removing the save function during the challenge.

At least there was the bug catching contest... leading to another tidbit - there are mentions that the Warden had left the Safari zone for another place... and a sign in the Bug Catching Competition has a mesaage, followed by 'The Warden'. But one will see what will be the case for the two in the remake, if it happens.

And Kanto part being bland - well, it was slightly in GSC, in that a few routes/caves were downsized greatly. One hopes they aren't downsized in a remake.

They just want the speculation to continue, I'm guessing it will come out after the 5th Gen remake, but even then, it will be too far away and no point of having it...
 
I may never have played G/S/C, Well sort of played Silver, but internal battery died when I bought it. But I've heard so much good stuff about it, I would love to see a remake of these. I'll go buy Pokémon Gold off eBaY to see what it's like exactly.

Yeah... Nintendo makes sure people speculate, rather than think how to make money... um what?

There really is no need for evidence for a GS remake to happen, while if any is there, it supports that happening.
 
Let me end this argument now.

There is going to be a remake of G/S/C, specially Crystal. I'm pretty sure about it. Why?

Technical Evidences:
1) The DSi is missing a GBA slot. This means you can probably no longer use Pal Park as a way to transfer pokemon.
2) D/P and Platinum is only missing the trio Raikou/Entei/Suicune. A new game is the only way to obtain them now, since there is no Pal Park in DSi.
3) D/P/P has internal data for pokemon received from johto. I've checked it myself. And no, it ain't for any movie or event, they never have it like that.
4) A lot of in-game references to Johto.

Player's profit:
1) Have you wondered why FFIV was remade for the DS? It's because many people have never played it. And if people have played it before, they still wanna play it. Same goes for G/S/C. It has a higher replay value than any other pokemon game in my opinion. You'll agree with me once you get the remake.
2) It will give your nostalgia a great satisfaction.
3) Many people want a remake.
4) Many people haven't played it yet.

Nintendo's profit:
1) This is the only game they haven't re-made yet. Do you know why they removed the GBA slot from the DSi? It's because it will compell you to buy this newer game in order to catch em' all.
2) Think about it... Nintendo always creates three versions of the same game. Why? Because they know people will buy them still. It's the same here.
3) Finally, Nintendo knows that many people haven't played it yet, and most people are mad for it. They know this game will sell more than any other Pokemon game in history. Thus, they are more confident. It will net them uncountable amounts of money.

I think that does it. If you want to add something, or think something is wrong here, then just post it so.
 
Can you imagine walking through Johto again in glorious D/P/P graphics? Seeing the sparkling lake of rage, the mountainous silver cave, the huge city of goldenrod, the slightly disfigured Kanto...

Makes you daydream doesnt it? Many players will buy it and that's that. Nintendo have all the more reason to make it.
 
ah, i got G/S/C on ebay for xmas. Sadly, only silver works and i lost silver! >.< so i would love a remake! Everything points to it! Even the new DSi points to it!

Acually this time kanto will be fully explorable. Why? The date space my friend the data space.
 
good, yuy see Kanto kinda wasnt as good as it was in the original Kanto games. Also, in G/S/C remakes do you think the safari park will be in Kanto? If it is, its gonna rock.
 
I would believe so. Im acually waiting for the day nintendo comes to E3 all happy and dandy. Says we have a familiar suprise for you. Shows an opening trailer of a dp graphic's game. Starts showing towns. Bring the pokemon in. Then boom the label pops up. When that happens ill be barrel rolling throughout the world.
