4th Gen A G/S Remake?

I'm not sure, but I think maybe the cell phone feature would work as a Poke Tech, and would be on the bottom screen.

I hope there aren't as many HMs as there are in D/P/Pt.

And as for music, I'd be satisfied with the beepy old music just ported. xD But I know that's not gonna happen, so I hope they just enhance it a little bit and keep the tunes.

But I doubt that they will put Kanto in, but they might, I'm just saying that I would rather have a new region like the Sevii Islands than a dumbed down Kanto. They had better put in a Battle Fronteir as well, most likely where the Battle Tower was in Crystal.

And is it unanimous that we all think that random wifi battles would be awesome? Kind of like how it was in Battle Revolution.

Cell Phone feature, how far will this go? :P I think there's no need for the cell phone feature now that we've got wi-fi. Oh, do you mean pokegear? XD I think they might upgrade the pokegear a bit.

Train You mean the magnet train? I don't know, maybe they'll treat us to some nice 3D for the magnet train? :)

Any new alternate forms, maybe for Celebi?! or maybe a new Pokemon?! Hmm.. i'm kinda neutral to this, i wouldn't mind it, but, i think it'll take away the impression of a 'remake'

How big will Kanto be? Fully restored, in its glory, i mean, now that we have a bigger space on the cartridge, they should be able to fully restore Kanto.
Will Kanto be the only other region? Maybe, i wouldn't mind a nice little sub-region... ORANGE ISLANDS FTW!*shot*

That's my comments on each of the subjects.
 
As for music, maybe they could do the same thing that Dark Spire did and allow you to switch between Remixed and Classic sound modes.

No new legendary forms please. I can do without Suicune Burst Mode. However, there might be a new Shellos form if it appears in any extra regions the GameFreak adds.

Hopefully they'll make Kanto complete this time around since they have the space for it. And as for the PokeGear, I'd love to see new card functions with similar apps like the Poketch has.
 
Just a thought, what if they were only telling us that Gold and Silver, the originals, were only going to be for download o DSi XD!

We most likely will get Kanto. If they were able to fit it in the GBC, they should be able to fit it in the DS. Also, Oak mentioned that there was another white rock in Kanto, probably for another Shaymin event.

Well, didn't they actually say it was going to be a new game? So I think that rules out that possibility. Although I wouldn't mind that happening eventually at all, that's a good idea.
 
Oh crap, I didn't think about that. That could actually happen, but Nintendo would most likely find more money in a full remake. They could provide the original G/S/C alongside the remakes for nostalgia purposes.

I'm almost certain they said the game announced would be new (unless they're advertising it as "new"). Besides, wouldn't it make more sense to do that for R/B/Y first?
 
We got FR/LG, so why do we need to call RGB new?

Also, I find that quite hard to believe now. Nintendo is being real stupid lately, making us get lost in their site. 2 weeks I looked for something, got nothing.
 
Still, R/B/Y and FR/LG aren't the same games, which is enough of an excuse for them to be rereleased.

Athough if it was just G/S being rereleased, they probably wouldn't be making such a huge deal out of it.
 
What are u saying? They were remakes of RBY/G so they would not be rereleased anytime in the near future.
 
Anyway i cannot wait for this like I mentioned 100s of times. Also the easels must have Lugia and Ho-oh I mean if you squint hard enough see ho-ohs neck and lugias whole body. And wow pokegear on touch screen full Kanto with a full Johto the train scene in DPPt graphics ah this will be perfect! And I am not one who loves the old hates the new I love new and old. Okay there we have it lets get it moving now we have to start the party!
 
Even though I'm about 99% sure that we're getting remakes now, we're still not completely certain. Let's save the celebration for when the official announcement comes.
