4th Gen A G/S Remake?

Simply amazing news. This just made my whole week, now I don't have to wait until sunday for that news. I've been wanting a G/S remake for so long, mainly because my save battery died a few years back, and I didn't want to replace it knowing it would die again sometime.

How awesome is this? Lol, yeah, this thread's gonna overflow with posts. I'm lovin' the names, and hope the US titles are the same. I haven't been spastically hoping and praying for GSC remakes, but you bet you're bottom dollar I'm excited to hear they're making them ♥

Awesome f'in news! It's about time they got a remake. Gotta love how this was hyped up over the last few days, and no disappointments. I love the names, too: HeartGold, SoulSilver...I'd love it if they remade Crystal, too, but I'll be satisfied with just HeartGold. I'm definitely getting it when it's released. The first Pokemon game I've played in a long while, since Emerald. (Hmm...maybe I should get to work beating the Battle Frontier, even though there's no connectivity between the two. XD)

Hmm...well, I wonder what I should do with my game now. XD
 
I need to quickly beat Platinum and Crystal before the JP versions come out. Buy the way, given HG and SS' naming scheme, If Crystal had a remake it would probably be called BodyCrystal(Heart, Body, and Soul, get it?) Anyways, I can't wait to see some screenies!

Or "MindCrystal." I don't think they'll remake Crystal though.

I am pretty sure that their will be a female protagonist choice in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. I mean there was a female protagonist in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen which were remakes of Pokemon Red and Green who also did not have a female playable character.

I really like the names. There's something about "SoulSilver" that sounds so nice~ It's too bad that the U.S. versions will ditch the awesome logos, most likely.
