(???blinding flash? and I think you two forgot to read that you shouldn't go overboard with Devin.
Me said:
just don't bash him too much, and make sure he's arrogantly...cool. you know?)
Is that cool?)
I grabbed Devin by his ear and shouted into it, "Excuse me!!!"
He flinched and scowled "What?" He snapped.
"I think you should fix yourself good before I go tell dad what you just did!" I said, digging his face into the marble floor.
"I-think-you-should-fix-yourself-before-I-tell-MOM-what-you're-DOING!!!" He said.
"Oh, but your more important! Mr. I'm-going-to-be-a-CEO-one-day!" I sneered.
"Oh, no no! Miss Bachelorette-who's-going-to-make-dad-rich, your much more important!" He laughed.
I flushed, and scowled at him.
I knew he was referring to the fact that mom had always been going on and on about how I should be more lady-like for her to ever find me a 'rich' husband.
'That's just how wealthy families go' She said over and over.
"Same to you Devin." I said regaining my cool "Now, why don't we take a little experiment shall we?"
He looked utterly confused.
"I've been waiting for this moment ever since you smeared mom's lipstick all over my cloths." I said, smiling evilly.
"What. Did. You. Do." He asked threateningly.
"Watch that tone!" I said, having the time of my life "You certainly remember my old chemistry set that suddenly was completely depleated of it's supplies, and mom couldn't figure out where it had gone right?"
He nodded slowly, truth dawning like a hammer to the head.
"Well." I held my hand out expectantly to Jaques, who timidly handed me a silver cup coaster, which had a big red button on it.
"Watch where everything went." I said pushing the button down with my thumb.
Upstairs there was a large boom, and all the color flushed out of Devin's face.
"Might wanna check your room." I said, tossing the coaster to Jaques who caught it.
He dashed upstairs and I went over to where Drew was standing, still clutching his messenger bag.
"I'm sorry about that," I said apologetically "But my brother's probably just been dumped or something. I'll just grab something to go."
Mariette brought out drinks, and I asked her to serve while I grabbed a few extra clothes, and I asked Jaques, to prepare a few supplies, like food and potions.
"I'll be right back." I said dashing up the stairs, to hear Devin's agonized cry from the otherside of the open upper level.
Quickly locking myself behind the double doors to my bedroom, I sighed and slid down the mahoghany door.
"Well, for starters..." I mumbled grabbing my purse, and taking out a fat wad of pokedollars "Saving up always helps."
Grabbing a few extra clothes, and stuffing them into the navy blue side pack my mom had gotten me, I slung the pack over my shoulder and straightened my hat.
I glanced at my vanity and decided to grab a brush too.
When I reached out to pick up the silver brush, my hand bumped something round.
"A pokeball?" I read. From the note attached it was obviously from my Dad, and it was a-"A Delibird?!"
I released it, and a red and white bird-pokemon popped out, clutching it's white drag bag.
"You can put some extra things in your delibirds bag, like food and water, and clothes." I read from the note.
"Great!" I grinned "This'll definetly lighten my load."
I fetched a few more skirts from my wardrobe, and put them in as the Delibird held out the bag.
"Thanks!" I said smiling and patting it gently on the head.
It was obviously very friendly.
"Deli Deli!" It said, marching toward the door.
"Wait!" I said, but too late. It had already bumped it's beak into the locked doors.
"Get out here you little zit!" I heard Devin's muffled voice shouted as he pulled on the clacking doorknob.
"Great. Now we're stuck in here!" I hissed to delibird.
"Deli Deli." Delibird said shaking it's head and notioning me to unlock the door as it searched around it's bag.
I nervously clicked the door open, and When the door flung open to reveal a boiling Devin, Delibird presented him with a neatly wrapped gift.
"You really think I'll fall for that?" He said sweatdropping.
"Deli Deli." Delibird said simply, stuffing the package into his hands, and pulling me down the stairs.
"Right!" I said, stopping before the three boys, smiling sheepishly "Let's go. Quickly."
