Agree, studies have proven this; I believe it's been shown that the connection is actually that violent people tend towards violent video games. Not that playing GTA will make you go out and rob people.

RPGs are better then platformers.

That's a hard one, my 2 favorite games, Mega man and pokemon are an RPG and a platformer, I'll disagree, there equally fun.

As long as they're not mindlessly copying everyone else it's fine imo, and I can't really judge if people actually put thought into the things they do before following along with what someone else does. Anyway, people should think for themselves more yes.

Overly hard games are often not enjoyable.

I'll disagree since that comes down to personal preference. I have different games that I set to easy, and others that I turn onto max difficulty. For me it can depend on how good I am at the genre.

An evening alone if preferred over an evening with many people.
