[Challenge] Alfheim Online Challenge REVIVED

Well, continuing on from last time. I actually have a lot of events few days ago, camping with friends, research, and etc. Which probably makes this update late than usual (Doesn't help that i'm doing nuzlocke on photonic sun also that is harder than this hack). This time i'll be putting my progress on the spoilers tab so it doesn't clutter the thread too much

- Oh, hi Barry do you need another beatdown to recognize me as a superior trainer? (Why does Barry's team so inferior compared to Dawn?)
- Welp, Pokemon Mansion is in trouble, i guess we'll have to detour from our main target of Solaceon Town
- So team galactic has decided to loot pokemon mansion for more money eh? Maybe we should do the same/jk. Well maybe we should go there anyway there might be some important items laying around.
- OOOOOOO LUCKY EGG!? Well, this detour was worth it, well we're also offered Manaphy egg but eh, it'll break the rule if we use Manaphy.
- Wait, Crumbled Tower?? I forgot about Spiritomb.. Uh.. Maybe i'll add him.. I dunno.. Let's see later
- Well maybe you guys that read my summary will realize, that i said i don't see any purpose in old chateau. And maybe you'll say but there's wild ghost and dark pokemon there why not catch it there? Well it's because the lost tower exist, and we might found those pokemon there, if not well we can fly back later.
- A little detour to the Solaceon Town first, taking Nagata (Seedot) and Sting (Skorupi) with us now, i'll exp share them enough to evolve so i can use them for battle
- We meet Lucian at the Solaceon ruins entrance, fortunately we got a TM (Psychic) but not a battle thank goodness.
- After getting defog, we're moving north. Stocking up on some moomoo milk and then continue our journey to Veilstone
- Crumbled tower eh.. I kind of forget about Spiritomb.. Should i enter it to my team, eh.. Probably not..
- Lost tower might gave me the sixth pokemon i need, although i think Morgana won't be a permanent staple of my team since i haven't had a surfing and waterfall pokemon
- After healing on Veilstone, we went searching for sixth member, it was either Murkrow or Duskull and eh, we got Murkrow (Which was very good since none of my pokemon learn fly).
- Back to Veilstone we challenge Maylene (Those fighting pokemon are fast), my Honchkrow (Don Crow) keeps getting pummeled again and again but eh he reached level 47. However at level 47 Don Crow now outspeed all of her pokemon so Brave Bird and Muscle Band swept them all.
- After that, we shop at the Veilstone department stone, meeting Bertha and then we got TM Earthquake from her MWAHAHA
- Now we continue south to the Verity Lakefront, on the way we got a CHOICE BAND, that's very good. Combined with the fact i got a life orb near the moomoo milk cafe, fighting Crasher Wake might be a breeze.
- The move relearner here doesn't charge you heart scale. Not only that but apparently all move tutors here doesn't need shards to teach you some move, and they all gather at route 212 which helps if you don't have a proper moveset yet. Those two things helps greatly.
- It's time to train Nagata, honestly it's easier because Nagata has Higher speed than Don Crow and combined with Leaf Blade he has this should be fun.
- Bah, Wake has a lot of berries and sash. No potions needed but thankfully crisis averted, phew.. (That Sharpedo with speed boost and Floatzel with Life Orb is total pain)

Did you know that it is a long walk from Mauville to Lavaridge Town since you have to not only go all the way to Meteor Falls but then loop back around through Mauville again just to get to Mt. Chimney so you can fight Team Magma. Since it took me awhile (not really just haven't been doing the challenge), this took a week or more. At least this gave enough training to Wingull to evolve into Pelipper before we went up Mt. Chimney. Thanks to that, Team Magma were easy since I have two water pokemon around level 30 now. Once the battle was done with Team Magma's Leader, I headed to Lavaridge Town since it was the closest town and my pokemon needed to heal up their moves for the Fire-type Gym Leader in the same town. Again, thanks to having Water-type Pokemon, the gym and the Leader were easy but the puzzle always throws me for a loop. Now I have 4 badges.

This is the second to last update i'll be doing on this series as we're about to finish the story, please enjoy

Spoiler:

- Next is the galactic bomb storyline, well you get the gist. After that Cynthia gave us secret medicine to take care of Psyducks blocking the way
- After getting pass that, we then go to Celestic Town while beating all the trainers in our way (Beth's Play Rough is very useful here).
- And then the first battle against Cyrus, and it's... pathethic, only Beth died and it was after killing 3 pokemon, cmon Cyrus why the hell are you weaker than Crasher Wake.
- Well after that we got Surf HM from Cynthia's grandmother, and Cynthia tell us to go to Pal Park. Unfortunately we don't have a Water/Dark or Water/Ghost so.. it's time to hunt one.
- And so, we get a Corphish it can evolve to Crawdaunt later in the way and can learn both Surf and Waterfall.
- Oh no, i just realized we have to catch Ditto to finish this Challenge.. Do we drop Sting (Skorupi) or Buccanneer (Corphish). Eh.. ah well.. We're dropping Corphish.. Honestly it's hard but speed is important and Crawdaunt doesn't have the same speed Drapion has, not to mention this is Trade Adamant Skorupi that has extra exp. So sorry Buccaneer, you'll just be a slave.
- Haha, we found our last member Houdini (Ditto) and so, we can starts to finish this challenge
- After some exp shared by the other members to Sting, it finally evolves to Drapion. Let's see how much good it is. Now, on to iron island
- After short fight with Riley, really it was short (Most of his team weak against fighting move, and Beth's choice band definitely helps a lot). We finally explore on the iron island only to meet him again and starts grinding Drapion
- Lucky egg Drapion is really eh.. 2x exp.. and those defense EV.. and Swords Dance.. Wowie..
- Fight against Byron now woo
- Not only i swept his entire gym, but i also swept all of his pokemon with Sting (Swords Dance + Scope Lens + Night Slash + Sniper, occasional earthquakes mixed in)
- And yes, we already entered the end phase, the lakes got bombed. And us in canalave feeling the impact
- Welp no to go to lake valor and then verity, we beat the admins there. And yeah no big deal.
- And then onward to snowpoint, when we arrive at Acuity Lakefront we need rockclimb to go to the lake itself so i guess we need to beat candice
- Oooo.. Earthquakes from the temple? It must be Regigigas, after beating trainers in the entrances we now could explore the Snowpoint Temple.
- The Temple puzzles was easy except the sliding ones thanks to my own inadeptness:v. And we had to calm Regigigas, it was no big deal especially since it had slow start (Or other ability, i KO-ed it in two turns so i don't know)
- And then we fight Candice, it's very easy with the stalling buff technique (Really, you wouldn't say that if you're Nuzlocking though)
- Yeah Barry's already beaten by Jupiter when we're there, so good luck on training Barry, not that you'll beat me anyway
- And yup, we're going to Veilstone to find out what Cyrus wants to do with the 3 legendary pokemons (For the 7th/8th time, i've finished pokemon platinum that many times already)

Sorry for seeming to take a long time. I was on a trip for a while so I couldn't do much online and we were walking around most of the day so couldn't play the games. But I'm back again so yeah. Anyway beat the last gym leader who was quite easy due to Kingdra and Altaria taking neutral damage instead of super effective. Plus it was just easy overall in my opinion. So now just gotta get over with the elite four and champion so most likely time to grind them and get them one level over each elite four and champion.

So Platinum Salamander challenge complete. This was a fun and interesting challenge especially with the level limits. What I will say is early on in the game it is hard to not over level, but the problem you get later on is you might be under level which causes you to grid which I actually enjoyed for some strange reason. I would actually recommend the challenge since it is a somewhat easier challenge than the other ones especially since you automatically get a fire pokemon as a starter. But besides that how I beat the elite 4 and champion. I mainly assigned one pokemon to an elite four member. So Rapidash was against the bug elite four. Altaria against ground, Kingdra against fire, and Houndoom against psychic. That left Infernape with the champion while Gabite was more of the healer/support pokemon. Though as I stated about grinding the best place I found to grind was Route 223 due to the leveling of the pokemon and how Tentacruel gave quite a bit of exp.

So Platinum Salamander challenge complete. This was a fun and interesting challenge especially with the level limits. Sorry for long time waiting, honestly i was too lazy to write haha. I've done it, with few mishap and two ridiculous mistakes we still managed to beat the pokemon league. Without further ado here's the transcript.

- So we're in Veilstone, wrecking some (a lot) grunts, teleporting to Cyrus's room, and he's still no big deal (Justice for Cyrus, Buff Him). And we actually managed to get to the laboratory where Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit is being experimented, we fight Saturn. In which we fainted one (!) (It's actually because i didn't heal my pokemons at all, and i were screwed when a random sucker punch from a Toxicroak hit me unexpectedly (Ironic). But in the end he still beaten we released those three pokemons, and off to the mount coronet we go.
- I was actually kinda forgotten that i had to enter through the southern entrance instead of the northern one, but silly me spending 10 minutes stupidly contemplating where i went wrong. Then i beat more grunts in my way.
- Now we're on the Spears Pillar, beat Grunt, beat two grunts in the double battle, and then with Barry defeat Jupiter and Mars (BARRY WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS!? I HAD TO DO ALL THE HEAVY LIFTING), then finally Cyrus summons Giratina (Really Giratina's first appearance is still so cool in my mind)
- And Cynthia came, and with Cyrus we're in Distortion World (OHH HOW HAVE I MISSED DISTORTION WORLD, even though i've completed Platinum 7-8 times, haha). And so we advance through the Distortion World where we faced our greatest challenge yet which is PUZZLE AND WALKWAYS HAHAA (My brain kind of shortcircuited at the time so even an easy riddle become very hard). And then we beat Cyrus again, although this one he proves to be a bit of a challenge congrats to that. And we faced Giratina, after all of those great animation showcase of Giratina it sure is going to be a great match... Or not, he fall to legendary god Master Ball (Just because i don't want Sting to wipe the floor with him)
- And so it ends (P.S THIS IS MY DRAFT FROM 29TH OF JULY, GT happened and all of my time goes there LoL i don't remember the rest of my run, so if i didn't write it in detail it's because of the event haha.).. uhh.. And yep it ends.. the whole Galactic shebang was all done and buried under the ground now it's time for Edgy dude Volkner.
- Sooo.. Basically we're going to Sunnyshore and everything was pretty much all the same, except the trainer composition and as Sting was overpowered he crushed the entire Volkner's team without a fight.
- And next journey to VIctory Road yay, more exp fodder.
- WHAT! HOW DARE YOU REDIRECT ME SIR! I'VE COLLECTED 8 GYM BADGES AND WE STILL HAVE TO TRAIN AT ROUTE 224!? BAH.. Ah well..
- And hey we find Marley, and as the normal game would we escort her until the exit and that's it, so what the hell is waiting at the end of Route 224?
- OH it's our greatest rival Dawn, we had an epic match where she fainted 2 of my pokemon as usual, but we're stronger now so yup no victory to you.
- And we're back... Urgh.. It's out greatest hindrance Barry.. You couldn't even knock one of my pokemon out and i don't even use Beth right now.
- Talking about Beth, where's Beth OH NOOO... I've entered the Elite Four area without Equipping Beth and my Power Band and i still haven't forgotten Rock Climb that's still in Sting yet.. urghh.
- Ok i'll keep it simple, except Aaron (HAHAHA CAN'T SETUP SWORDS DANCE SUCKS HUH?) They're top notch challenge. But the hardest of them all is Granny Bertha and she doesn't need to use earthquake, just several of crit hit stone edge and my team almost wiped out.
- And finally we're gonna have this epic battle against Cynthia, and oh she has a Clefairy, is she going to use Moonblast? Oh Reflect? Swords Dance then. Wait? Light Screen, okay i can setup another time. MAGIC COAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And with another swords dance my Drapion become OP. And six Cross Poisons later that's the most anticlimatic battle in my entire playthrough.

Badges: Trio Badge

So the first one was a slight challenge since I was faced against the grass type gym leader as expected. Though it became a bit easier the more I grinded against him and his Lillipup. Along with using a few Tail Whips and a Focus Energy it made it somewhat easier.

Sorry for not posting for a long time! Just lost a bit of motivation for challenges, but now I'm doing better now! So then I have progressed quite a lot since last time. The normal and bug badge I don't remember what I did since I defeated them a while ago so...Sorry. But for both the electric and ground they were surprisingly easy. For Elesa I mainly used Palpitoad since she couldn't do anything. All she used was Aerial Ace for her Emolgas and spammed Quick Attack with Zebstrika. And for Clay I one shot his Krokorok with Avalanche and defeated the rest with Water Pulse. So...Just three more to go! Of course I still need a Pokémon to have Water Absorb which I might get a Frillish. And then the other two members might be Beartic and Cryogonal with one of them or Vanillite learning Ice Beam.

So I begin my journey and pick Bulbasaur thinking it is great that I can use my starter only to find out that he cannot learn any dark type moves at all by tm or level up so I catch a Weedle as the actual first member of my team and begin grinding right after I catch a Pidgey because I have to because of my restrictions as an Imp then once I evolve Weedle into Beedrill(which took forever because Weedle could only do one battle before I had to go back to the Pokemon center and Kakuna wasn't much better)I do the optional rival battle and head Viridian forest and proceed to show all of the bug catchers who the true bug catcher is then move on to pewter city and grind to learn focus energy this is so I don't have to spend hours grinding just to fight Brock so on my first attempt I get crushed by Geodude and by the time I got to Onix, Beedrill had like 2 hp so I reset and tried again and this time I get super lucky with Geodude spamming defense curl so I could set up after I set up my 6 hardens and focus energy I poison Geodude then use fury attack till he dies then do the same to Onix. After that I battle my way through to mount moon and before I enter I catch a Nidoran and then enter Mt. Moon to catch a Zubat and box the Pidgey since the Zubat can replace Pidgey, follow the rule and has the type that matches my class Imp, I then reach cerulean, heal up then start grinding.

So 3 things I forgot to mention last time so basically on my way through Mt. Moon I made sure to pick the thief TM and a moon stone then once I got out I caught an Ekans. OK onto the more recent stuff so I battle my rival(sweep with beedrill) then start switch training Zubat and Ekans on nugget bridge then I talk to Bill, get dig,and then I go train on route 6 then go to Misty she wasn't that hard a clean sweep with Beedrill since her pokemon a part psychic I have a feeling Beedrill's reign of terror will end very soon so I officially move onto Vermilion and go on the SS Anne and start preparing for my rival battle(Side note I didn't evolve yet Nidorino because Nidoking doesn't learn a level up dark move and thief is being saved for someone but Nidorino learns Flatter at Lvl 43 a move I didn't even know existed,it's swagger but for special atk)
