Sorry that it has been so long since posting on this. I finally beat the challenge, but I just...don't feel like giving the moveset or any of that for the team cause the Ghetsis battle drained me a bit so yeah....I beat it. Would say if you leveled your team up more then it wouldn't have been a struggle, but...yeah. It's done!

Now Nessa, I had a plan to use Pumpkaboo against Dreadnaw, but...that didn't work out. If being honest I should've lost that battle, but I somehow won since Thievul somehow lived with 1 HP left and managed to knock it out. Of course if I had only used another Hone Claw I could've beaten it sooner, but it's whatever and I beat Nessa!

So third gym was ok. The only thing to note is...somehow my Stunky knows Toxic. I never taught it Toxic and I'm super confused as now it can only use poison type moves...yay...

Hacked Skorupi in as my starter. The rest of the team is gonna be caught naturally, as Drapion is the only one of my planned team that cannot be normally caught out of post-game.
It was really a Skorupi solo run until after I beat Falkner and could catch Zubat on route 32, so there's not much to add here.
Skorupi was a real champ against Falkner tho, she flinched Pidgey and two-shot it, and speed tied with Pidgeotto. Although she lost 3 out of 4 speed ties, she actually managed to take it out.
After that I went to route 32 so i could catch Zubat and Tentacool, and that's it for now.
I wasn't planning on updating until after Morty, but I tried the bug catching contest to get Scyther and after catching the first one I saw, I ended the contest to check whether it sucked or not (I'm not really after amazing natures for this run, but I wouldn't use a modest Heracross cuz I'm not a masochist) and I KID YOU NOT it's Adamant and has Technician. So I had to update asap.
So, last time I ended at route 32. Caught Zubat and Tentacool (btw, both their movesets are total garbage until like level 17 or so). After that I went down through Union Cave then route 33 and arrived in Azalea Town.
Once in Azalea, I talked to Kurt and he did that thing where he tries to be a hero but is too old for this...and ends up doing nothing. So I defeated Proton and trained my team up to face Bugsy. I ended up having to fight Silver before Bugsy because I still needed some levels. Bugsy was relatively challenging, in fact I'm sure if not for Zubat having Wing Attack I would've been beat.
After beating Bugsy, I headed to Ilex Forest so I could get Headbutt on my team and back to Azalea. Gave Skorupi a concussion so I could catch Heracross and then went to Goldenrod.
Passed straight through to catch myself a male Nidoran, which I then evolved into Nidorino, the first evolution of this run.
Whitney was honestly a breeze, as Heracross learns Brick Break at level 19 and mine is female to boot so no Attract shenanigans.
After beating her I got the water thingy to remove Sudowoodo and headed towards Ecruteak, but first the highlight of this update:
On the way to Ecruteak, I stopped for the bug catching contest so I could get myself a Scyther.
And, as I said...SCHMIDT IS ADAMANT AND HAS TECHNICIAN.
Last update stopped when I caught Schmidt, so let's start on Ecruteak. After the Burned Tower ordeal, I trained everyone up to 25 (which made Barbara evolve into Golbat) and went straight to Morty. I mean. My whole team either has a Dark-type move or is waiting to learn one, so he was barely an obstacle.
After humiliating my favorite Johto leader, I headed towards Olivine and guess what? Barbara evolved to Crobat as early as level 26. I guess I make my Pokémon happy! However, as soon as I reached Olivine, a thought crossed my mind: where to I get the items I need to evolve my Pokémon? Turns out the Moon Stone is inside one of those little temple thingies in the Ruins of Alph, so I went backtracked a little bit and got it, but decided to only evolve Nidorino at level 43 cuz this way he can learn Flatter, Poison Jab AND Earth Power.
Back on track, I climbed the lighthouse and talked to Jasmine. I don't know if I actually need to talk to her before getting the medicine, but I've always done things this way so why not. After that I went to Cianwood, got the medicine, beat Eusine and started training my team to face Chuck.
Davey evolved into Tentacruel.
Chuck was...I mean...His team is really bad. The poor man got the two worst Fighting-types Kanto and Johto had to offer. And my entire team resists Fighting. And half my team has Flying-type moves. I truly feel bad for him.
So, after that unfortunate man got destroyed, I got Fly from his wife and flew back to Olivine. Went straight to the lighthouse and delivered Amphy's medicine, and after that I decided to try Jasmine straight away, despite the level difference. Heracross destroyed both Magnemites and although Tentacruel did offer her Steelix a fighting chance, it was wasted on Sandstorm.
Btw, the only battles I didn't start with Toxic Spikes since I got the move were Morty and Jasmine for obvious reasons. I won't do it against Koga either.
Okay so I forgot what happened between Jasmine and Pryce cuz my computer was acting up and it spent something like 2 weeks getting repaired. After getting it back, the first thing I did was spam Thief against wild Magnemites to steal a Metal Coat so I could evolve Scyther. I was already at the route left of Ecruteak so apparently that was my plan before the computer issues.
Scyther one-shot Seel with Wing Attack and Heracross destroyed both Dewgong and Piloswine.
Soon after starting to take on Team Rocket, Scyther evolved into Scizor (I used a randomizer to make impossible evolutions possible, so it evolved by leveling up while holding the Metal Coat). The admins were pretty easy to beat, but Houndoom did give Tentacruel quite some trouble as I was slightly underleveled.
Grinded to face Clair. Skorupi evolved into Drapion.
The fight against Clair began with Drapion setting up Toxic Spikes as Gyarados spammed Dragon Rage. Poison Fang then badly poisoned Gyarados as well. Unfortunately I choked and let Drapion die to Dragon Rage lmao. Clair used a Hyper Potion but the poison damage twice killed Gyarados. I clicked Fly so that Crobat would attack straight on a switch, which was almost enough to kill Dragonair 1. Paralysis was pissing me off after three turns of full para so I switched Tentacruel in and killed with Sludge Bomb. For the second Dragonair I just clicked Close Combat on Heracross. Finally, Tentacruel beat Kingdra in a 1 v 1. That was Clair.
Evolved Nidorino into Nidoking at level 43 so I'd get both Poison Jab and Earth Power.
To beat the kimono girls, I led with Crobat so I could U-Turn. For Umbreon I swapped into Scizor, but Dark Pulse and Confuse Ray didn't let me move once so I swapped into Heracross and murdered it. For Espeon, Drapion. Flareon, Tentacruel. Jolteon, Nidoking. For Vaporeon I had no great counter, so I tried to poison it with Poison Fang but U-Turned to Drapion, and guess what? Surf almost killed both Crobat and Drapion. Heracross took it really well though, and destroyed it with Close Combat.
Killed Lugia cuz y not.
Before taking on the E4, I grinded my team to level 49, went back to the Pokeathlon Dome to farm Heart Scales (which to my dismay are limited to 1 a day) and searched for TM26 Earthquake. Lastly, I went back to Goldenrod so I could get the TMs for both Flamethrower and Ice Beam. That…Took a long time.
I'll be leading every single E4 battle with Drapion cuz Toxic Spikes. So I did just that and Xatu U-Turned out into Slowbro. Btw, Slowbro started Cursing. I started clicking Poison Fang instead of Crunch after Will used the Full Restore cuz I needed to poison Slowbro as of yesterday. 3 Poison Fangs in, no poison. Thankfully, Slowbro's offensive move is Water Pulse so Curse was only half bad and Drapion killed it either way. Scizor one-shot Exeggutor with X-Scissor. Drapion killed both Xatus with Crunch. Scizor killed Jynx with Bullet Punch.
Will was super easy but tbh I expected that cuz Drapion is a beast.
Spoiler:
Didn't even bother clicking Toxic Spikes on Koga for obvious reasons. Instead, Crunch made quick work of Ariados. I came prepared for Forretress, as Nidoking annihilated it with Flamethrower. Venomoth got killed by Crobat's Fly. Nidoking destroyed Muk with Earthquake. Finally, Crobat was a pain to deal with. Why does Koga rely on evasion? That's low. Doesn't matter, Bullet Punch is too strong.
Koga was more annoying than difficult, really.
Spoiler:
Toxic Spikes ftw. Hitmontop has Dig btw, but Drapion ate that up like tomorrow's breakfast. Still switched Crobat in as he's mostly gonna solo run Bruno except for Onix. Fly one-shot Hitmontop. Tentacruel's Surf hopefully made Bruno regret having an Onix. Crobat then came back and one-shot Hitmonchan, but got killed by Machamp's No Guard Rock Slide. So I had Drapion get revenge. This Machamp is probably the strongest single Pokémon in the E4, ignoring Lance. Finally, Nidoking killed Hitmonlee. Not really, it died to Toxic Spikes, but oh well.
Bruno was honestly harder than I expected.
Spoiler:
I set up Toxic Spikes just for the heck of it, as I'm sure it's gonna be absorbed by Vileplume before Houndoom comes in. After setting them up, I switched Heracross in and clicked Brick Break. Tentacruel Ice Beamed Murkrow to death. Turns out I was wrong, as for whatever reason Karen switched Houndoom in on Tentacruel, so I clicked Surf twice and that was it. Crobat killed Vileplume with Fly and finally Drapion killed Gengar with Crunch.
Karen was disappointing.
Spoiler:
Guess how I started the match? Yup, Toxic Spikes! Drapion completely ate Waterfall, but seeing as to how Gyarados was just as hungry on Crunch, I switched Crobat in. Crobat got critted, but my goal here was mostly to get that Poison Fang poison on Gyarados. Which I did! Next, I switched Scizor in and used Night Slash. That was a horrible idea, as Gyarados survived and got healed back up to full health. BUT Scizor landed a crit on Wing Attack and Gyarados got destroyed. Against Charizard, Tentacruel's Surf killed in two hits. As the first Dragonite came out, Ice Beam began to rule. Second Dragonite in, Ice Beam somehow didn't kill. But Dragon Rush did. So I switched Scizor in again to revive Tentacruel. Dragon Rush also killed Scizor. Ice Beam did kill now. Switched Heracross in on Aerodactyl mostly because I thought Aerodactyl had no Flying-type moves for whatever reason. Anyway, brought Nidoking in to revive Scizor. Nidoking ate Aerial Ace AND triggered Poison Point, so I took another turn to heal Tentacruel's hp. Then I switched Scizor in and Bullet Punched it to hell and back. Finally, time to Ice Beam the last Dragonite. Of course it lived Ice Beam, but Tentacruel also lived Outrage so the second Ice Beam killed Dragonite.
Lance was challenging, as expected. If this was a nuzlocke, I'd have lost.
Challenge done! ^^
This team was pretty terrible, Asmodeus was the only sweeper with Shadow Ball until it learned Dream Eater. Lexy was good only when I taught it Fire Blast....also Driftto was pretty useless lmao.
