ALLCAPS

In generations I-III and to some extent, generation IV, pretty much everything in the game, apart from dialogue text was in ALLCAPS, as in, well, everything was in capital letters, items like Full Restore were rendered as FULL RESTORE, names, such as Misty were MISTY, and Pokemon, too were BULBASAUR. Towns were also like this. This was dropped, for the most part, in generation IV, with the exception of Pokemon names, which will still in ALLCAPS.

Do you prefer Pokemon games in ALLCAPS or everything looking normally, and not in all capital letters?
I was never a fan of ALLCAPS in the Pokemon, games, tbh. Felt like everything was screaming at me, lmfao. I more so prefer Pokemon text the way it is now.

I DIDN'T LIKE IT WHEN POKÉMON NAMES WERE ALL CAPS AT ALL, IT JUST FELT LIKE EVERYTHING WAS BEING SCREAMED AT MY FACE. HOWEVER, WHENEVER I NAMED MY POKÉMON IN GEN III OR IV, I'D GIVE ALL CAPS NICKNAMES TO MY POKÉMON JUST TO NOT BREAK THE MOLD (YES MY OCD IS AT A HIGH LEVEL THANK YOU)

if you have ever seen my posting style you know how i feel about all caps

Hated the ALLCAPS since Pokemon Red where I loved to use farfetch'd but hated the fact that the only one you got in the game was traded and so had a giant NICKNAME. At least the nickname was cute, it made the little duck special in his own way.

It was alright in the old games. Changing Pokemon names to include lowercase characters made everything look so weird, imo. It's probably because important names where all marked through uppercase, so seeing names not be that way kinda destroyed the consistency.

Needless to say, when they changed everything in later gens, all caps names became the weird inconsistency, because by then, important names where spelled properly with lower- and uppercase characters.
