Do you have allergies of any sort? If so, what are you allergic to? How does your body react to those allergens?

I'm allergic to every kind of plant and tree in Missouri, cat pollen and a few others that I forgot. No food allergies though. It used to be so bad that I would wake up in the morning, barely able to breath and my eyes would be swollen shut. I started getting injections for my allergies when I was like 14 every single week for 4 years. My allergies are pretty much gone now, I'll still get them in the spring but it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. So I'd say the injections were a success even though it sucked getting them every week.

    I'm allergic to:
    • Elm trees
    • Oak Trees
    • Maple Trees
    • Dogs
    • Cats
    • Dust
    • The cold
No really, I break out into hives when exposed to cold. I suffer from Cold Urticaria, and can go into shock in die when exposed to the cold for too long (HOURS).

I'm not allergic to anything except penicillin but I still get itchy eyes and stuffed nose during allergy season.

There are different kinds of allergies. What kind do you mean? I have, like, seven different food allergies, some potentially life-threatening, some not. I have seasonal allergies as well, although this year they haven't been bad.

Allergic to dust, grass pollen, and the goddamn Winter, since I'll be in some hospital. Hate Winter. Christmas is cool though.

Only thing I could really consider myself "allergic" to is dust, and even then I'm not entirely sure about that. I haven't really noticed it acting up in recent times, even when I do have a lot of dust around. It used to bother me so so much though. Sneezing fits, watery eyes, sometimes coughing if it was bad enough.

There was also a point in time when I became similarly intolerant to cat dander (it made for some interesting times when I came back home to my parents' four cats), but that disappeared once I was able to be around cats again for a bit. Go figure.

The only allergy I've noticed is cough drops. If I eat one, I sneeze exactly twice, every time, no exceptions. Not sure what in it is actually causing that though.

AHAHA OH MY GOD I would stumble across this thread right now.

I'm actually only logged into PokéCommunity at this ungodly hour because my allergies are keeping me awake. I have a severe case of dust mites or something because whenever I lay in bed to go to sleep, my eyes flare up uncontrollably. I can't even begin to count how many hours of sleep I've lost this week just because of this. I was getting ready to drive to CVS after my eyes kept me up until 7 AM the other night just to buy eye drops, but I found a packet of Claritin D and settled with that.

I hate allergies so flipping much.

I only get seasonal allergies. I don't really react specifically to anything. I only broke out in a rash once and that was in response to a new detergent, but my skin was super sensitive from a sunburn and I adjusted shortly after.

I'm fortunate enough to not have any allergies so that makes my diet open to everything, but I do have asthma.

I myself have no serious allergies, unless you count dust mites. Those things make my sinuses act up like crazy and causes my nose to itch and run, and in worst case scenarios, causes me to sneeze uncontrollably. I've also experienced some kind of rash before after using some hair products, though that was the one and only time that it happened so I wasn't sure what was the root of the problem. It was probably some kind of mixture between two types of shampoos.
