    It has been revealed that the next special form of Vivillon has been announced. This form, the Fancy Pattern, is to be distributed when over 100 million Pokémon have been traded on the GTS and is to ti in with the fact that Vivillon is the most traded Pokémon. The number is currently sitting at 85 million so only has 15 million to go. It is said that the distribution will be worldwide. The actual means of distribution has yet to be confirmed but we'll post as soon as it is

    That is very exciting, I can't wait to find out how I can get my hands on one.

    I'm not even too into Vivillon collecting but I want.
     
    How where these 2 Vivillons not spoiled months ago? Is it possible XY still has a few tricks up its sleeve?

    Wow a distribution like this is a first, but given trading is the only way to collect all the different Vivillon forms it's no wonder they are popular with global trading services such as the GTS and Wonder Trade so having a special Vivillon event to celebrate the occasion is definitely something all Vivillon traders are welcoming.

    At least unlike the Poke Ball Vivillon, this one is going to be a worldwide event so that's at least nice to make up for those non-French people who were sad with the Poke Ball Vivillon being limited to the Pokemon Center Paris. I wonder what moves this Vivillon will have when obtained or if it has its hidden ability or something.
     
    This is (probably) to encourage people to play X/Y more (especially as info for OR/AS starts to be revealed) and people are sure to be trading a lot more now there is the incentive of getting a special Vivillon

    according to Serebii, we are at around 85 million trades, so only 15 million to go, and now peopleare going to want to trade more for this vivillon, i'm pretty sure we can reach the target in a month or two :)
     
    Yes, another Vivillon pattern! I'm glad that this one will be a worldwide thing instead of being limited to one city. I just hope that its a WiFi distribution and not something else....

    This is apparently what Fancy Pattern Vivillon's moveset will be when obtained.

    It'll be at Level 12 and knows Gust, Light Screen, Struggle Bug and a new move called Hold Hands. It comes in a Cherish Ball (duh) but I have a feeling it may have that ribbon that prevents it from GTS trading.
     
    Everyone go trade Scatterbugs on the GTS and let's get this event. I WANT ANOTHER EVENT PLEASEEEE
     
    Cute :D I do so much WTing, but not really anything for GTS. All people ever want on there are legends; have 85,000,000 legends really been traded for Scatterbugs :P lol
     
    This instantly became one of my most favorite Vivillon patterns ever. I really love the combination of green and pink in their wings. Guess I'll be spending most of my time on the GTS since I actually want this Vivillon!
     
    I wonder how that Vivillon can have a move called "Hold Hands" when its hands are tiny as heck. Then again, it's not the only thing in Pokemon that doesn't make sense.

    It's not my favorite Vivillon pattern, but it's still pretty nice! I'd like to have one myself, plus I'm interested in knowing what Hold Hands does, so hopefully we'll reach the goal soon (or have someone hack the game and find out, if possible)!

    Actually, they were. I'm sure serebii has had them listed for a long time now, and there's this blog post dated 6 months ago. Warning: blog post contains other spoiled Pokemon as well.

    Is it confirmed that this new pattern will be distributed via wifi? Because I'm really sad that the Poke Ball pattern was only available on location.

    Anyway, it's time to hit the GTS, everybody!
     
    Wow, that thing looks simply gorgeous, haha. I don't think it has data in-game, though, does it? If it did, we would have discovered it already. When distributing, they're probably going to have us install all its info and whatnot before downloading, if that makes sense. Anyway, I'm loving it; it's very pretty!

    Actually, both this one and the Poke Ball pattern have been leaked by hackers months ago.
