Well for computers I started out with Dell, simply because it's what my father gave me. He'd give me his hand downs whenever he'd get a new computer.
When I first bought my own laptop it was an Asus, and the laptop after that is my current one that refuses to die, which is an Acer =D
*knocks on wood*
The Dell computers never really died on me, but they did become incredibly slow after a bunch of years and a new hand down would come around =P
The Asus Laptop died on me after 5 years, though it was a floor model from the shop I got it from which was probably not the best idea. My Acer Laptop will reach it's 10 year anniversary in another 4,5 months roughly =D
*knocks on wood again*
I also had an Acer smartphone that was great too, but then Acer pulled back from the phone market and I was left with a Phone that never got any OS updates anymore and I had to replace it with my current Motorola once my work's app stopped supporting it's OS version. My phones before I had to switch to a smartphone were mostly from Samsung and LG. The one I had directly before the Acer smartphone lasted me almost 10 years (9 years and 10 months iirc) and was a Samsung.
For TV's my parents have always had Samsung I think. Probably why I ended up taking one too.
Err anyway.... for Laptops I'd go with Acer.
For TV's it's Samsung.
For Smartphones I'll also go with Acer for now, because the thing was still functional and only got replaced because my work's app was no longer supporting it's OS. I have no complaints about the Motorola so far, but I've only had it for like... 2,5-3 years roughly. The Acer smartphone was at over double that =P
Is there anything you're superstitious about?
