... well I'd probably stop myself from picking Litten as my first Alolan starter back in Pokemon Moon.
Litten and Torracat had me excited for a good looking cat starter final evo and I will never forgive Incineroar for the way it looks. Heck, I've been looking up the final stages for the starters in new Pokemon games since then because I don't want that level of disappointment again. It's still my only time ever boxing my starter in a Pokemon game on a normal playthrough.
Anyway... I doubt I'd hate it as much if I wasn't so let down by two great looking cats evolving into a wrestler wearing a cat suit, so stopping myself from picking Litten and going with one of the other starters and encountering Incineroar for the first time in a different fashion (like on the rivals team for example) is probably enough to result in me not hating it. I probably still wouldn't like it, but at least I wouldn't hate it. Oh well... at least they gave us a good looking fully evolved cat starter in gen 9.
