Fun story time: I wasn't really a child, but like 13 lol. I went in a shop with my dad and I was kinda dissociated because I don't even remember the shop and what we were shopping. Anyway, I see some chocolate candies and I kinda wanted it so bad. I wasn't hungry, but I wanted one of those candies. I was thinking "well, it's just a candy. I can get it without anyone noticing." I mean, it's not a good thing to do, but it's still just a candy. So, I am a very nice and rule observer person, so it took me a lot of time to figure out how to get the candy without being watched. Somehow I manage to get the chocolate candy and once out of this shop, I show my dad and I laugh because I got it free. I thought dad would have laughed on it, because it was just a candy. Instead he was quite angry/disappointed and told me to get back and buy it. So, we go back in the shop and I tell the person that I got the candy.
The person says: "oh yeah, that's ok. They are free." lol
So, basically I didn't steal it but at the same time I did? lol. This says a lot about me ahah

Have you ever been to another Continent?

I've been to three continents in total: Europe, Asia, America. Asia only for holidays, and America only for work.

Have you ever invented a new recipe?

Depends on my mood and on the person. In general, I find it pretty hard to become friends because it takes time for me to open. I am a top quality introvert, so yeah. I often am speechless or sometimes I struggle to come up with the right thing to say, because I am afraid to be a mood killer (btw it happened lol). But sometimes, I manage to go along. if the other person talks a lot, then there's more chances for me to get in the topic of discussion.

Have you ever done a big change in your life?

I realised I am not that shy, and I can easily talk to people, including new people. However, I find it hard to physically be in places where there are new people ^^"

When was the last time you met someone new?

If you mean someone who I actually bump into on a somewhat regular basis.... so not like random strangers coming up to me to ask for stuff like directions or whatever...
hmmm... a new colleague I guess... like... 6 months ago by now? maybe 7. Unfortunately a different colleague quit like a month ago so the short staffed issues persist xD

Are you from a big family?
I guess the term 'big' is kinda flexible, so... do you consider it big?

3 older siblings. One parent. I don't know anybody from my dad's side of the family besides my uncle who randomly resurfaced a couple years ago. So nope, not really a big family. My grandparents are all dead too. Lots of family who I never met because they never contacted. I'm now an adult and don't care to meet them.

What is the most huggable pokemon?

Gotta work with imagination since it's pretty much a distant future.
I think I would be ok working both alone or in a team. I think they both have pros and cons tbh.
Personally, knowing myself, I am not an enterprising person, so I guess team work would also be fine. I think that alone I would have to overcome extra challenges.

What's a sport you would like to try?

I don't know... car racing, maybe.

Have you ever cut ties with a good friend?
A first time after a year in a school with a few friends. They stayed in that school, I didn't, and lost contact.
A second time a few years ago. The bond with that friend just faded, we moved on, each on our own path.
A third time with a group of friends from a training course in another city. Came back home when it ended, and we still had Discord, but the server became desert.
A fourth time with a friend who left to work far away. Lost contact then.

What is the best moment you have ever had with friends ?

None exist to pick between.... though...
I played basketball on a team quite a while ago as a kid/teen. One of the teams I was on came in first in the regional tournament. Although I wouldn't call any of the people I was on that team with a 'friend', it was not like I was on bad terms with them either. We got along well enough and the team worked pretty hard to get there. Closest thing I can think of, I guess.

How many different jobs have you had?

Not counting internships and stuff? So far I've had two paid jobs. The first one was simple assembly line work in a huge pastry factory. I was there as some sort of contracted worker from an external company for six months. Not only did I get pushed around because I was too slow for them. The whole ordeal of having to work in shifts had me ruined so hard that I not only had multiple mental breakdowns but also my last workday (one month before I was finished, anyway) ended up with me getting put into a closed psychiatric ward for a day before spending two weeks in hospital.
My second job is my current software dev job. It's alright, I guess. But I get going back to the thought that working isn't exactly for me. I just didn't have a mental breakdown, yet. That's all. ^^"

Are you afraid of the dark?

My last post was an answer to Megan's post but Piplup posted a few minutes before me so I missed her question, I liked the question about cutting ties with friends, and I have to answer Megan's last question!

Are you afraid of the dark?
Nope, but I'm afraid of hitting stuff in the dark lol.

Have you ever cut ties with a good friend?
Many many times. Not actively though. As I don't have social networks, I cannot remain connected to someone I don't actively talk to, so I need to contact them actively with WhatsApp. Also note that I tried to stay in touch with some people who didn't reply back.
So basically I no longer have ties with anyone I was with at school, and anyone (minus 2) I was with at the university ^^" Now my friends consist almost entirely of the people I met during my PhD.

Have you ever done a big change in your life?
Three times: moving to another city when I was 20, starting strength training seriously when I started my PhD, and moving to Canada after said PhD.

Do you often think again and again about something insignificant that happened in your life?
I do a lot lol.

Yes, I always do that's why I am confused!
Jokes aside, yes I am pretty much an over thinker in general, so sometimes I feel bad for having made even a small choice. Then, yes it happens to me to think about the small things that I would have changed in my life.

Do you still have a childhood friend?

I'll go back to any date before February 21st 2004, so I can have my dad back. I was practically a baby so I don't know what I could do over, but if I could have any overturn there is my answer.

Where is the secret chocolate stash mentioned on the forum games banner?

I no longer wear perfume, but at some point I wore one of Zara's perfumes for men.

Is there someone famous you would like to talk to?

Nope.... 😢
