    Okay so we have a thread on people here playing musical instruments.

    SO anyone here in a band?

    I'm finally in one. We're a rock type of group. We call ourselves "Inner Thunder" and we're writing stuff. We can play pretty dang good covers.

    We have covered

    Twist & Shout by the Beatles
    I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace
    Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley
    Don't Matter by Akon
    My Generation by the Who

    We're also gonna be covering other artists but we're mostly working on writing at the moment.

    We're gonna cover Metallica :)

    Ive tried a lot. Really just me and friends come over to play. WEre a cover band.

    Play mostly Three Days Grace and Papa Roach. Rock really. xD
     
    I tried to get a band together, but I'm so committed to a million different things it doesn't work out. Plus, I don't have enough friends that play guitar...and I don't play very well. (Though I did just learn 'Monsoon'...yay me.) It was me and my sis singing...we sound pretty good but we need to like get a recording studio or something.

    So yeah, no band here. But hoping to soon.

    Originally we were 'High Voltage'. Then we were like, no, that's dumb, so we changed it to Exodus 20 after an R.E. project, but it still sounds silly. GAHHH STRESS.
     
    I play with a band called birdhouse, we play prog stuff, some of our covers include:

    The Musical Box by Genesis
    anything by Pink Floyd (including long pieces like SOYCD)
    Lady Fantasy by Camel
    2112 by Rush


    Anyway, we don't like to cover, and we mainly write our own stuff, or just jam.
     
    Former band member. Drums of course. We never did covers but we did make some songs on our free time. And cause our friendship was broken. Oh but the band makers cousin has a band!

    I'm not a good people person... I never even tried because I'm such a recluse from society.
     
    I was in a hardcore band for almost 6 months. I played the keyboard and was technically only in one song, but I was in the band. :>
     
    I used to be in a band call Frankincense :P LOL but we broke up after 8 months, we don't have much time to practice so yeah. I was a bass and sometimes a guitar. I usually write our own songs. :D
     
    Yes I have a band, I'm a song writer and the Drummer :D but we broke up 2 years ago, I didn't have much time to do that band stuffs :] But now I'm in a school band playing a cello.
     
    I'm kind of in one, although I barely have time for it. It's called Blue Aviary.
     
    If you mean orchestral bands, yes I am in my school band.

    If you mean Rock Band. That is a different story.

    The thing is, I know all the instruments in the band, and I am planning to develop a one man band sometime later, featuring only me playing all the instruments and vocals. It should be easy with the programs I have.

    So technically, I am planning on a band XD.

    For almost 3 years, we were really good at playing, I was the guitarist and sometimes violin if they need one but for now we haven't do anything for a while :\
