[Sword & Shield] Are there any Pokémon you use a lot in max raid battles?

I use Toxtricity a lot too. It's got a great type combo for the Pokemon that seem to appear most in raids. I also find myself using Bisharp and Togekiss quite a bit too. :)

Mostly Eternatus, main downside being it only takes away 1 shield bar at a time. The rest depends on the type.

While I try not to use the same one all the time, I'd say my Arcanine and Toxtricity get used most in high-level raids, while Inteleon plows through lower-level raids.

Additionally, as none of my party could beat Gigantamax Snorlax in a solo raid, and no one was joining me online, I desperately took my Scraggy and fed him doping candy until he was a level 100 Scrafty. And it still took me half a dozen tries to actually catch the Snorlax (as irony would have it, the day after I caught 3 of them from other people's raids with no trouble at all). Scrafty subsequently became my last resort option for really tough raids: he's strong, very durable and has Shed Skin so he heals statuses by himself, which is very useful in a high-level Max Raid. Equip him with a healing berry and he can last out a 5 star raid, no doubt about it.

Small anecdote: one time during New Year's shiny Magicarp event, I was part of an all-Toxtricity raid. Only one person had brought a Low Key form, and they all played their electric guitar chests at the giant flopping fish.

You know, with anything other than Pokémon that would have been a really strange sentence.

My Toxtricity also gets used a bunch. Shield doggo too, as does Falinks against Fighting-weak mons, Perrserker for Fairies (and when I don't use the legendary), somethings things like Gyarados against Ground types, Ludicolo when it fits (ice beam also helps), and Ground types against Electric mons.

i used to use Toxtricity like some in this thread... it's actually still really good! but another Pokemon has caught my eye more: Clefable. hear me out, here.

anyone who has ever used Clefable before knows that it's stupid bulky, and dynamaxing it makes it even more so to the point of ridiculousness. im not joking when i say this... any special attacker is doing basically nothing to Clefable even with no calm minds set up whatsoever. gmax Lapras? not a problem, Clefable laugh at it anyway. gmax Flapple? same. i'd honestly go as far as to say that most dmax/gmax Pokemon don't really put much of a serious dent on Clefable which is what i placed a lot of importance on. a lot of the most threatening five stars just... become so much easier when you have a bulkier Pokemon that can take their hits a lot better.
