Why can't you add lots of Grimer together to form one big Mega Grimer?
 
Because Grimer isn't the final evo so it can only be a gang of Muks. :T

WE'RE NOT BRINGING WAILORD X SKITTY INTO THIS

Well see trainers have been trying to fly for years! Frustrated, they've tried many different methods such as copying other pokemon. This involved flailing their arms wildly, tying balloons to themselves, inhaling air and then blowing at the ground... but none were successful! The trainers became frustrated and condemned their flying pokemon to carry them as they believed that Arceus had made them flightless so they weren't super out of this world in terms of being cool. ... and that folks is why we don't fly without pokemon!

So anyway, why did I turn into a pokemon at the start of PMD?
 
Because if you were a human in PMD you'd randomly combust and die. :P

So why can Arcanine learn a move when most Stone evolving Pokemon don't learn any new moves? :0

Because otherwise your Pokemon don't recognize you and run away, and in the Japanese versions appearantly it's 'Report' like you're writing a Pokemon Report, so the Professor sees you didn't write it so he takes away your liscense! :0

Why can't Flying types be hit with Ground when they're on the ground in battle?
 
Because the food that the leftovers are made of were eaten by Nurse Joy and therefore contains her magical healing properties.

Why isn't there a dragon eeveelution yet?
 
Because many years ago, the Eevees got into a big fight with the dragons, and now they are are so stressed that the species has adapted to become genetically incapable of evolving into a Dragon Type.
Why do some Pokémon evolve when traded?
 
Because they like to spite their previous trainers by only evolving once they're out of their possession. Shame they can't devolve when they're handed back though!

Why is Pikachu the mascot of pokemon?

Because without Steel typing, it's spikes become useless accessories that get in the way in battling, and makes him really lame aftet that.

Why can people ride on Rapidash? It's been done in the anime and PokeSpe, but not the games. :P
 
Assuming you meant 'can't': Because they end up braiding Rapidash's fiery mane.

Why does Raichu learn Fly?
 
Gamefreak felt sympathetic that it was banned from surfing so they let it fly instead!
