And also, 'scuse me for wanting to vote someone who could have been scum as opposed to someone who probably was not. I'll accept that it was in the mafia's best interests to lynch Lisia, but it would have also been in the town's best interests, as there was a chance she could've been scum. Not sure why there was a Golgari bw at all to be honest, but as it's been said before, if there's two bws on people who are both not mafia, the mafia would have spread their votes. You can't fos people who jumped on one wagon without also fos'ing people who jumped on the other.

It's also worth keeping in mind that no-one is confirmed while the Cultist is still alive.

Hopefully will be back either late this evening or tomorrow morning to cast a vote.

So I thought in EM when Cult visits mafia they die, but they don't. It doesn't actually clarify at all what happens in the Cultist's description, so I'm assuming they can convert mafia.

Nevertheless I agree with Bac on this - the cult shouldn't be ignored and left unchecked, buuut the mafia is without a doubt the bigger threat.

I want to comment on who strikes me more of scum between Alex and Bard, however I can't help but always consider them both mafia....always. :| And let's consider the possibility that they could both be mafia and going after each other so when one dies, the other may be considered as town afterwards? The two of them are the type of players to pull it off.

I agree it makes sense Johnny could have been cult'd, but sometimes as a recruiter you don't go after the obvious picks so you don't lose your recruits as easily. As such, Johnny isn't necessarily a cultist, not to mention that the cult can recruit from innos and mafia, so they don't need to worry about their action failing for targeting the wrong alignment.

That being said, I differ from Charlie here - I'd rather take a shot at someone I don't trust (alex) and hope he turns up as mafia, instead of going after someone who is likely a recruit. tbh i was thinking the same thing, i was just looking for proof to his profound innocence but i haven't been seeing anything too solid lately. anyway, i've also been getting scummy vibes from alex, he seems very wishy washy and on board to kill just about anyone.

Nope. I'm the last remaining survivor and I'm getting lynched because Johnny is bad at this game.

Before I go down let me share what I know.
I know for a fact that kaneki missed his NA n0. I visited him exactly because he's missing them quite a lot. I've been thinking he could've been the cult head but it's clear now that this is not the case. Might ve been the autocrat or angel? Idk.

After he got shot I've been visiting the same person and I'm safe and sound. Don't know if I've been targeted at all, however, just that I'm still here.
If you look back at day two, right after noone died, that's when Johnny decided it would be a good idea to pick on me. A dozen posts after our "discussion" I mention that I have an idea of what might have happened. By that I meant that since noone died and Johnny claiming there is no fab, I figured he is the ghoul and targeted me with his NA. So I thought mafia had targeted him, and I was supposed to die in his place, but I was hidden.
Later he said he targeted Nimsy however, so that was not the case. The reason I'm saying all this is because I kind of(?) softed day 2 with that post.

That's all that popped on my mind for now. I might come back to this thread later if town starts making sense. If not, go ahead and lynch a vocal third party helping your sorry excuse of a town.

Edit : I'll have a decent laugh if a mafia of four, one of which isn't even in their chat manages to beat a town of 3847483

I also have a feeling that Nimsy was the cop. Good job Johnny.

@Alex, I've read through your day 2 posts and I don't really see the softing anywhere. I see you talking about Golgari's claim and suggesting he is a Survivor but nothing else sticks out. Mind linking to a specific post? It's hard to support your softing when its a general feeling across three pages of a day :P

Also I'd like to bring up:

So this quote struck me as odd. Ullion seems sure that the cult has taken a hit, however we have no way of actually knowing that (unless I've missed something?).

Three our of four Third Party roles have died, including Golgari who is confirmed Survivor. The other two could be the Angel & Autocrat, with Alex supposedly claiming the other Survivor role.

So unless Ullion can confirm how he knows some cult members have died, this seems p suss to me.

Again, it makes a whole hell of a lot more sense to lynch a potentially wrong scumread - which I backed up my thoughts, regardless of how hard you try to make it seem that it was baseless - than a helpful, talkative survivor, whose lynching literally effects no side. It's nearly a no-lynch but in this case you lose a potential ally. That fact you're still trying to make your reasoning make sense is a bit ridiculous.

I also don't get what's your problem with "my game".

Based on that I'd say my game is much better than yours. You're not even paying attention, when has Desinishon ever been not parrot-y.

If you read my post properly, you would've understood that the "game" comment was directed at the Vigilante. I suppose I'm not the only one "not paying attention," then.

But I will further elaborate on my ideas concerning Desi. The post in particular I was referring to was:

The "parrot-y" part in question was the fact his reason to lynch Golgari instead of Lisia was a direct copy of the words people put into the mouths of Lisia voters, the whole "oh you guys are just voting her for being inactive" argument. There's no substance that went along with his decision to lynch Golgari in her stead either, nor any given reason why he thought voting off a third party was a better idea.

We shouldn't brush it off as "usual behavior."

i think it's safe to assume the GS is dead/recruited, the cop may also be dead, the party host is dead/recruited, and the crier is dead/recruited.

+1 to idea that GS, Party Host, and Crier are all dead. Again, to anybody who holds those roles, let us know you're alive by using your powers. Otherwise this could be valuable information on making sure that mafia or cult members can't claim these roles.

Actually, alternatively, these roles could've been converted. In any case, it might be a good idea to treat these roles as dead, and anybody who claims them without proof as scum or cult.

Thus my FOS are on the people that voted for Golgari after he roleclaimed since the mafia would definitely want to get the survivor lynched. That would be (excluding Johnny) Charlie Brown, Desinishon and Catman.

I think to scumread any of the Golgari voters you'd have to nitpick their reasons, because any sensible mafia team would've spread their votes. It actually makes a little less sense to go after Golgari from a mafia perspective unless you were doing this strategy. I don't know how much I trust Charlie Brown though (just a gut thing atm, I would have to look into his posts again to really make or break that decision.)

... and the fact that by your logic Johnny, no one should put 100% stock into your claim either. There is a chance that the real Ghoul is lurking/unwilling to cc/dead/inactive and you're just getting away with claiming the role.

Not that I believe that, since I would hope they would've come out to cc the role and help us lynch a mafia/cult member, but the point still stands. You can't really get away with saying "oh, because it's so easy to claim such-and-such," without invalidating yourself, because there are a multitude of ways someone can claim a role, like yours, and get away with it.

That's not a problem, because killing recruits is pointless. Many of the dead third parties might've been recruits, they're nowhere near of winning, whilst the mafia has the upper hand right now.

Killing recruits is not pointless lol that is such a scummy thing to say. It sets the cult back a day. It's ineffective compared to killing the lead but it is in no way pointless.

I wouldn't call it scummy per se, Sam. I kind of agree with Johnny here - killing a recruit kind of feels like trying to scoop out water from a sink instead of just using the drain, while neglecting the murderer behind you. It's best to draw out the leader somehow instead of spending the day's lynch on someone who will die anyway if we play our cards right.

And with all this new business about Alex being the last survivor ... I like, want to believe it, but I thought Superjolt was the unlucky survivor? If that's not the case, what the hell was he? How did he die when Nimsy died?

In any case, the only person I haven't moved off my scumread is [LYNCH] Davepetaspite^2. I think we've established our set-up enough and proved there was no fool, and all her responses have been scummy and unhelpful.​

Nowhere near a softclaim, hence the "kind of(?)" addition. Just, having my role in mind, I tried to figure why would Johnny falsely accuse me at the time, and what I explained above is what I concluded to.

I mean, why would I openly claim survivor? This town tried to get Golgari lynched and that second class vigilante killed him that same night.

So, going by the phase post and the "stuff didn't happen" the gs could potentially be blocked, which definitely makes Bard's softclaim seem honest.

I still can't wrap my head around Johnny's plays. I can see you pulling that "bait" as a townie, but still..
I've narrowed down your possible role to a select few now. If my theory is correct, I can see why you picked me as the bait target, and I'd suggest we leave it alone for now and I ask you to think of what might the case be.

I'm against another no lynch too. I'm thinking we should lynch one of Gunner or Catman.
Gunner for her effortless posts so far. She's been snailing a lot lately, including not having updated mcm scratched yet, so it's not much of a read, but if she's gonna keep being silent and not helping, then good riddance I guess.
Catman is even more silent than usual and his posts are nothing but blabling. I feel that he would have tried to share his thoughts as town by now.
Other candidates could be Lost and Lisia, going by the silent and slippery factor. I can see Lost vegging yet again tbh.

Johnny, Golgari softed a few roles on D1, one of which was survivor, so it's not like he made up the claim out of nowhere. Before his claim, there was a possibility he was town BP as well, so I don't see how you proved he was only mafia or third party.

Also:
I thought Superjolt died to the vig, not because he was a Survivor, though it was a possibility that was brought up. Alex claiming Survivor makes sense to me because I've basically had a null read on him (meaning I didn't lean town or scum on him) because he's had moments that were a bit scummy but seemed to be scum hunting at times.

I don't think Johnny has been recruited yet. He's been acting this way for pretty much the whole game and since he used his action he's basically vanilla, so he would be a low priority target for both the cult and mafia IMO.

Gunner is a valid lynch option, she's been acting very strange, not her usual town self. If she is a town PR (which would be another reason to lay low) then she would be acting differently IMO.
