counterclaims, i love it

edit: before i go (for a few hours) i'd like to add that i also kinda inclined to believe NK's claim. even though that was an extremely soft soft... i've been coming up with theories for the past few days and i'm thinking maybe klippy is the sniper? idk, i won't cast my vote just yet until i hear a little more from everybody.

What the hell kind of soft or claim is "Shoot me"? That's ridiculously vague and impossibly so to suddenly counterclaim me as the Bleeder. That'd be like me saying, "I'm hungry" and claiming Chef. GTFO Krow.

There's a difference between a legitimate soft and acting like "Shoot me" (a frequently used phrase) is a claim - then retroactively saying "kek did u see my clever soft claim folks"
 
This is a tough decision - Nightkrow has been quiet and laying low this entire game. And Klippy... well, I posted my thoughts on him earlier this day phase. :/ I'm leaning towards NK being mafia atm, but honestly both of them are hard for me to trust. .-.;

Both have been quiet, Klippy has the extra mark against his name for that D1 shooting. It was semi-justified, but whether his hasty kill was to protect himself or to rid an inno idk.

I it would be a weird move by mafia to get rid of a gun D1 and shoot Kaneki of all people. Therefore I'll trust Klippy for now and see where this leads.

On another note, I really don't feel great about this bandwagon, but I really don't know where to go at this point. I always felt uncomfortable with Klippy's gun story, but it checks out enough that I suppose I'll go with [LYNCH] NightKrow. :/​

This is something I've been considering since day 1. But if Klippy shot as the sniper, then was there any guns handed out at all this game?

maybe if there are guns the mafia has them? or n0 the drunk visited and the gs was killed/culted.

I assume you meant blacksmith, not gunsmith?

Also, it's possible the gunsmith did not hand out a gun N0, but I can't see Klippy as the sniper shooting D1, especially since he was following Johnny's lead on shooting Kaneki, and the sniper does not know who his compatriots are. He also claimed his gun very early in the day, which would be a stupid play as a sniper as well since it would leave him wide open to a CC.

That doesn't eliminate him as mafia, but he would be much more likely to be one of the other roles.

If multiple guns were handed out and not claimed, the gunsmith should have called those players out for not declaring being given their guns. That being said:

Basically jd beats me to the point, so basically I don't think Klippy could be the Sniper because he wouldn't be able to communicate with the other mafia members. Because of this, he wouldn't know if mafia was given an actual gun as well as if the GS died or not. So being a sniper and claiming you were given your gun seems like a really really risky play. Now mind you, I've seen Klippy do unnecessarily risky moves before so this doesn't 100% clear him, but it's enough to convince me that he's more innocent than NightKrow so far - who has managed to say very little this game and has the worst "soft claim" I have probably ever seen. :P

I'd also like to add that any unCC'd PR claims should be taken with a grain of salt - a lot of innos have been killed off already and ontop of that we don't know how many PRs have been converted as well. That being said, NK is still our best choice for today. If NK shows up as inno, Klippy is obviously the next target (and Bac should definitely use his nightkill on klippy in such a case). If NK does turn up as mafia (or even 3rd party) - I think we should discuss other potential targets for Bac to try and hit tonight if we want to risk it. With a bunch of claims though, it's much better chances than earlier in the game.

Also, with the decrease in deaths at night, do you guys think it is possible that the Witch has been converted - or just failing with her targets?
 
yeah, jd does make a really good point there. that sounds like a great plan, hopefully the witch is no longer a factor in this game.

I didn't visit anyone N0, and visited Superjolt on N1 and N2 (because when I visited him N1, there were no deaths) and then I visited Johnny on N3, Bard on N4, Klippy on N4 and Nagi on N5.
 
I know who I'd really like Nagi to check this night - but if the Witch is up, then declaring openly who Nagi should visit would just get her killed, wouldn't it? :/

Wow, I tried go off of memory, really messed up and now I look scummy af. xD Here, I went through my PMs again and made a list.

N0 - Nobody.
N1 + N2 - Superjolt.
N3 - Johnny.
N4 - Bard.
N5 - Nagi.

I had Klippy in mind for N4 but then decided to go with Bard instead at the last minute so that's probably why I mucked up there.
