Fairy mono actually winning a game. Of course, that's not hard, considering what his opponent had. Also yet another Moonblast Sylveon.

I have pulled off one of the biggest upsets on Pokemon Showdown.... I had not won on the OU tier in 42 attempts (34 of them 6-0 defeats) and my best result before this was a 4-0 loss to my best friend Tailsko.

So I've been having a blast on Battle of Hoenn. My team is Anti Mence and actually does a good job of catching non-mega Metagross, which have been predominant in my experience so far. Here are some of my more exciting battles:

Just so I can show one of my losses, this was my only 0-3 loss so far, and the first match of the tournament. It was hardly an impossible match up for me, but the guy was just way too up in my head. Clearly more experienced than I am.

There are plenty of reasons why Megawhile got banned to Ubers, so it's always exciting to take one down. Catching that Mence on the switch was really fun too.

I thought for sure the match was over when My Will-O got bounced back at me. So glad I stuck it out. This is my first showcase of how much work Breloom has put in for me and why it is so good. There have been numerous occasions where it comes through on just a sliver of health and turns the match.

Mono-Type Water teams are all the rage in this tourney. Saw this guy had a Gyarados and knew it was Choice Gardy's time to shine. Saw that he had a Tentacool and knew he'd try to use it to pressure switches. Breloom takes Ice Beams every time.

Went with Gardy as an opener because I had a feeling this would be a struggle for switch initiative, and I ended up being right. I think we all can agree that this battle was over 4:00 in. Breloom survives with a sliver of health once again (I love it when he does that).

You know what's worse than an Eeveelution team? Two of them facing each other. You know what's worse than that? These sets. Attract (remember, Eeveelutions are 87.5% male). Heat Wave against Flareon and Vaporeon. Solarbeam with no sun/Power Herb. Dig Umbreon. Air Balloon Sylveon. Berry Juice Espeon. HYPER BEAM EVERYWHERE. And others.

When you run Quick Attack over Bullet Punch on SD Scizor, there are problems. Especially against a fairy mono.

The guy challenged me to a battle, and I accepted automatically without checking that the levels wouldn't be set to 50. He had almost all 100 'mons while I only had Vivie at lv100 >.>
