This is Bear Grylls.

While you're all drinking your lovely tea, water and alcoholic refreshments, this man goes out on ridiculous survival journeys. And he is very well known for his use of recycling his own urine and drinking it. One would possibly use the word infamous to describe this.

He is a man dedicated to survival. I ask you this, PC, would you ever do the same in his shoes? Have you got an inner Bear Grylls? I'll mention it now that I probably would just about be able to do this in a life/death scenario but I don't think I'd go to a desert etc. in the first place if I were going to even potentially end up in that situation!

Have you ever ended up/had to drink something revolting? The worst thing I've drank is sour milk 3 days past the expiry date. I thought it was just me and just kept drinking it (oh to be young and foolish...) I'd probably only just choose Carlsberg beer over the Bear Grylls Special, too.

At a new years thing around two years ago, I attempted to drink champaign from a carton despite knowing I already hated champaign. Long story short, I wanted to die because I could not get the revolting taste off of my tongue no matter what I tried.

I'm pretty sure most things Bear Grylls does is completely fake.

I ate some jarred fish on pancakes once. Some European thing I beiieve. Not that bad actually.

I once drank an entire jar of pickle juice as part of a bet! I thought it wasn't going to be bad at first because I love pickles and pickle juice in general, but an entire jar made me feel very sickly :s I've also drank soured milk in the past and that was probably the single worst thing I have ever tasted.

Seems the hot topics in GC lately are ones about dresses, things you hate, and what you drink.

Would I drink my own piss? I'd probably die before I'd have to make that decision because I have no survival skills or anything.

But the worst thing I ever remember drinking is like.....IPAs and Alka-Seltzer. Not together.

...blood makes me very squeamish but I'm quite impartial to the taste of my own blood? is that bad? am I about to live for 500 years in a mansion kidnapping people and preying on them?

Would I drink my own urine? No. I know you can never know what you'll do when you're desperate until you are desperate, but I'm fairly confident that I would die first...or try sucking the moisture out of my surroundings. If my hypothetical surroundings were a desert then I'd be dead by the end of the day if I drank my own urine or not, so I'd spare myself the indignity.

As for the worst thing I've drank...well, we had a blender when I was younger, and I put all sorts of crazy things in it...as you do. A slice of birthday cake and a milky way bar didn't turn out as great as I thought it would, and neither did frosties and strawberry milshake...turns out if you leave it to set you don't get a strawberry frosties cereal bar. I was very disappointed by that.
