Sorry it took me some time to get to this! Anyways, I have some things I thought about regarding your SU.*Nods* I read the rules indeed. Thank you very much for this chance! I'll do my best to make my SU worth your time. ^-^
Edit:
Okie Dokie! Jun is finally ready for judgment! Please inform me of what you think of him and if there are any aspects of him that need to be tweaked, fixed or reworked then I will get to them immediately!
Basic Info:Spoiler:
Name:
Jun Eusine Hoko
"Just call me Jun, yeah?"
Age:
19
"Twenty in about two months now. It's kind of crazy when I think about it."
Gender:
Male
"First the professor now you too?... Is it honestly that hard to see that I'm a guy? Maybe Mom was right... I need a hair cut."
Hometown:
Born in Lumiose city his family moved and settled in New Bark Town in the Johto region, his fathers home town, when he was three years old. About a year ago he moved to Viridian City alone to establish a home before challenging the Kanto league the following year.
"Born in Kalos, grew up in Johto and living in Kanto... are you confused yet? 'Cause I sure as hell am..."
Appearance:

"Appearance? Eh? Is there something on my face or something?"
Goals:Spoiler:
~ Suicune and the pokémon league:
Years ago, Jun's grandfather, the pokémon trainer Eusine traveled the Johto region in search of the object of his obsession... a legendary pokémon by the name of Suicune, the aurora pokémon. Suicune was said to be a beautiful and elegant beast linked closely with the lakes of the Kanto and Johto regions... people said that it moved with such grace that it could walk across the water and that it's mere contact with a body of water would eradicate any filth and pollution within it.
When Jun was ten years old he heard of his grandfathers death, apparently the old man had plummeted from the side of Mt. Silver while trying to reach the last location that Suicune had been sighted. Jun's father, whom also carried the name Eusine after his father, was driven into a relentless obsession over Suicune and his fathers death in relation.
And one day he too was gone.
With nothing left but a note promising to finish his fathers work and return to his family, Jun's father was gone and the young boy was devastated.
So devastated that he resolved to stop his Father from repeating his grandfathers mistakes.
In the midst of the night Jun ran away from home and decided to go to the place where he thought he would find his father. Mt. Silver. For a young boy it was a long and harsh journey, he carried a small backpack full of supplies and moved from town to town. His Mother was undoubtedly terrified, but he knew he'd be back soon with his Dad... and that they'd all be happy without any of that Suicune nonsense. With that resolve in his heart, Jun reached the large and imposing mountain... and he began to climb.
He came to an icy ridge, which he thought was odd as he wasn't all that high up. It didn't seem like it should have been snowing at all, especially since he could still see the ground rather clearly. Alas, he wouldn't have that much time to think about it. From a cracked opening in the mountain it came, a massive rhyperior, enraged though Jun had no idea why. It charged towards him and he froze like a deerling in the headlights, he was just a kid. He didn't have any pokémon either... what was he doing?
"JUN!"
The boy turned his head quickly. Had that been... his father? Had he done it? Had he- His thoughts were cut short by a blinding flash of white light and an unbelievable wave of cold in front of him, he fell back and hit his head on the rocks, dazed and confused he looked around as the light faded and gasped as he saw what stood before him. The charging Rhyperior stood in place, frozen solid in a block of crystal clear ice.
His vision was going blurry from the impact to his head... but he saw another pokémon looking down at him from a higher ridge. It was slender and elegant... with a flowing purple mane. It's eyes glowed a vibrant red that cut through the haze and the air around it seemed to shimmer with some sort of... aurora.
That was the last thing Jun saw before he passed out.
A hiker found him the next morning and brought him to the nearest city, where he was put under intensive care before being returned to his mother... however despite Jun's protesting, no pokémon matching Suicune's description had been sighted in the area where Jun had passed out.
And neither had Jun's father.
Years passed and Jun's Father never came back... However, inspired by the pokémon that saved him, Jun resolved to continue searching, but with more preparedness than before. He would need a team of pokémon to support his search, he would need to become strong enough to face up to the challenges that would get in the way of his goal.
A few weeks after his eighteenth birthday, Jun saw a special report pop up on his T.V. screen. News of a strange sort of Aurora Borealis appearing in the Northern and Western areas of the Kanto region.
It was time.
Leaving for Kanto and deciding to take the league challenge in order to become stronger, Jun resolved to find the legendary beast Suicune, to succeed where the others before him had failed... and in doing so he was certain that somehow he would find his Father as well.
"Suicune... all those years ago... you saved my life. All those years ago I heard my Fathers voice one last time. If you're the key to discovering the truth about his disappearance... then I'll find you again, I swear it."
Interests:Spoiler:
~ Ancient Legends, Fables and Mythology:
Inspired by his father and grandfather in no small part, Jun is obsessed with the mythology and legends of the World that he was born into. He has done extensive research in his spare time, into the Legendary pokémon of his birthplace Kalos, his home of Johto and his new region of Kanto. The beings of Destruction and Creation... Legendary deities of fire and water... great beasts that roam the lands, and majestic birds that soar the skies... even the ancestor of all life, humans and pokémon both. His main topic of interest however, has always been the Auroroa Pokémon, Suicune.
"Don't you just find it fascinating? Pokémon out there that are said to have the power to manipulate the very essences of this World. It's incredible to even think about."
~ Philosophy and Logic:
While generally rather quiet with his voice, the thoughts that swim around Jun's head are far from mellow and simplified. A man who spends so much time indulging in the historical and legendary aspects of his world tends to have a wandering mind... and Jun himself is partial to many schools of thought. A part of him is a deep and philosophical thinker, dwelling on the possibility of a higher presence... dreaming of the strength of the Legendary pokémon... questioning the realms of human possibility and existence. But in contrast and controversy, Jun also knows when to bring his thoughts to a stop in order to focus on the here and now, in this way he can seem quite logical and without the time for the nonsense of prolonged questioning and thinking. While such things often pique his interest... that does not mean that he will allow them to hinder him on a practical level.
"If I could then I'd think about so many things in so many ways for so many hours... but I've got things to do outside of my head as well."
~ Exploration:
New experiences, locations and pokémon. Could anything be more exciting? A love first brought to fruition during Jun's long trek to mount silver at the tender age of ten, the young man can no longer think of a life where he isn't constantly looking for a new discovery. This is partly what lead him to take on the pokémon league in the Kanto region... the idea of travelling the entire region, battling powerful gym leaders... all with the opportunity to meet new pokémon, perhaps even the legendary Suicune which he was vowed to locate? All of it just sends the butterfree in his stomach wild.
"There's a whole World out there for me to explore... The fact that there are some people who AREN'T excited to explore that is what shocks me the most."
~ Battling:
The only pokémon in Jun's party as he made his way to Kanto was a Honedge originally owned by his cousin and transferred digitally to him before his move to Viridian... this Honedge had been used exclusively in pokémon contests and had no idea how to fight efficiently. Thankfully, by attending a pokémon trainer school in Viridian City over the year he spent before the pokémon league challenge, both Honedge and Jun learned the ins and outs of pokémon battling... and they enjoyed it immensely. Working together as a team they slowly got better and better... and granted while they're still kind of new to it, they've at least managed to catch a new pokémon in viridian forest!... Yes, granted it was a kakuna and it didn't really put up much of a fight but... look what's important is that it's an interest!
The Jun of one year prior: "Yes we won! Only seventeen tries too! That's ten less than last week!"
Family:Spoiler:
~ Grandfather - Eusine Eruda Hoko - 64 at Death - Deceased:
Found dead on a ridge of Mt. Silver after obsessing over Suicune to the point of scaling the dangerous mountain with no battle-ready pokémon to defend him. It is unknown as to wether or not he was knocked off the mountain or if he simply tripped and fell down the slope. His notes and writings on Suicune, which he was known to carry with him at all times, were never located after his death.
"I remember when I was a little younger... my Grandpa would always tell me stories about the mythology and legends of Johto and Kanto. He always seemed so wise... I miss him."
~ Father - Eusine Zennin Hoko - Presumably 52 - Unknown:
A historian and pokémon collector, Jun's father was a good and honest man whom Jun looked up to throughout his entire life. After his own Father's death, Eusine left for Mt. Silver in order to finish the mission that his predecessor had died in trying to complete. Never to return from that task, his current location... and even his current state of mortality... are completely unknown. Part of Jun's quest is inspired by the work of his Father and Grandfather... and he hopes to one day reunite with Eusine by hunting for Suicune as well.
"Even if the rest of the World give up on him... I know that somewhere and somehow my Father is still alive... and I'll find him."
~ Mother - Ayano Kaigo Hoko - 49 - Living:
A well-known and popular ex-coordinator from the Kalos region, Ayano moved to Johto with Eusine, her two pokémon (Umbreon and Bayleef) and her son Jun sixteen years ago and to this day she is living with Umbreon and Bayleef in her small house in new bark town. It was hard for her to lose her father in law and husband... and even harder when Jun went missing in search of his father, however she has always kept hope in her heart and a bright outlook on life regardless. She often sends her son e-mails and gifts to assist him in his journey.
"Mom's always looking out for me... sometimes too much. I'm pretty sure she's already sent me ten e-mails since last I checked... wait- eh, don't write that down."
~ Cousin - Lucia Yujin Hoko - 24 - Living:
Jun's bubbly and eccentric coordinator older cousin. Upon finding out that her younger cousin whom she affectionately sees as a brother was taking the league challenge, she sent him his first pokémon to help him along the way. A Kalos native pokémon, Honedge. She also helped Jun to get into contact with professor Oak in order to receive his pokédex for the League Challenge. Lucia is currently living in Ecruteak city and is preparing for her next big contest debut.
"Lucia is... well... she's Lucia. She's nice but... she can be a teensy bit overbearing at times."
Strengths:Spoiler:+ Resolve:
Willing to risk everything that he is and has to complete his goals, Jun is blessed with an overwhelming resolve, focus and motivation. When he sets his mind on something he WILL do it... either that or he'll keep going until it is literally impossible or completely pointless to continue. Now that his current goal is something as lofty as completing the pokémon league challenge and locating the legendary pokémon Suicune... some might think that this resolve would be limited due to the unrealistic proportions of this task. But that is not the case. In fact, if anything, Jun is more determined than ever.
"I'm going to do this. No matter what happens I'm doing this. If you've got a problem with that then I'll move right on past you like every other doubt and obstacle that's in my way."
+ Intelligence:
Though he doesn't tend to show it all that often, due to his minimal social interaction at best, Jun is incredibly intelligent. People would often look at the boy growing up and assume that he'd be the next pokémon professor in training... though that sort of scientific study never really interested him. He's fascinated in lore and literature... and for one so young he is particularly well versed in the mythology of Kanto and Johto an when speaking of it he often surprises people with his understanding. He is even capable of reading the ancient language of the unknown and, after a few years of study, the even older language of pokémon footprint ruins. In a more creative sense... he writes poetry inspired by his experiences and travels. Though if you ask him about such things he'll fervently deny it's existence.
"Poetry? Eh? I have no idea what you're talking about honestly. I'm really not that creative... haha..."
+ Strategy and Battle:
It's true that it took him a while to adapt to the rules of battle at the age he started at. But teachers at his trainer school noticed a certain coalition between his undying resolve and intelligence even when he was constantly failing. He never tends to battle a battle in the same way no matter how many times he attempts it. He could face the same opponent twenty times over... and each and every time he would baffle referees and opponents alike with his suddenly completely different tactics. Even if in the beginning these strategies were somewhat terrible and flawed... as Jun improved so did they. This unique approach to battling involving throwing organised and established ideas out the window with every new battle has quickly become Jun's strongest asset in battle as he quickly learns what is effective and what is not. With enough development it may even give him enough strength to defeat the pokémon league... or so he hopes.
"I'll be honest with you... battling bored me at first, always the same ideas and techniques... it was nothing but a war attrition with both sides slowly grinding away at one another. I decided I wanted to change that by making every battle more... unique. That's all."
Weaknesses:Spoiler:
- Apathy:
To be perfectly honest, it's very likely that Jun will never care about you or your problems... well not at first. He's focused on his own goals and ideals and you and yours are of absolutely no concern to him. Now don't get me wrong, it isn't that he hates you... in fact if anything it's the opposite of that. He just doesn't have the time, energy or emotion to waste on you. He has no issues with an ally or two joining him in his quest... so long as they realize that he's doing what he has to do above all else. Nothing else is really important and while he might do the whole "you scratch my back, I scratch yours thing" he'll only ever do it if it furthers his own goals. For example, in return for strength in numbers he might travel with another trainer... but he's not the kind of guy to turn on his head and go somewhere completely off course because his "partner" wants to.
"It's nothing personal. But I have my own stuff to deal with... if you were in my position you might understand."
- Quietness:
Jun doesn't tend to talk much to anything besides his pokémon and himself. He's of the understanding that there's no point in making useless chit-chat and that he should only really speak if he has something important to say. This can often give off a strange and abnormally silent atmosphere when people are alone with him... though to him such a thing is perfectly normal. He just doesn't like talking, he doesn't see anything much wrong with that. There are a few exceptions to this rule... when alone with his pokémon Jun can be overheard having lively conversations. He does this because he knows that they can't respond... but for their sake he wants them to feel involved, so he does enough talking for them and himself both. When battling he also seems somewhat more talkative, the excitement of the situation overtaking him slightly. The third and perhaps most efficient way to get him talking is to question him about history, lore or legendary pokémon... three topics which will quickly draw him into a prolonged rant.
"I just don't feel like talking that often... I think people rely on it too much. I mean look at pokémon, aside from their cries they can't talk at all and yet they seem to communicate just fine with gestures among other things."
- Walls and Barricades:
If it wasn't already painfully obvious... Jun Hoko is far from what most people would call a social beautifly... and this all comes from the departure of his Father and Grandfather from his life. While he still believes in his Father... the effect that losing a Father and Grandfather has in quick succession on a young boy is very negative. Despite the fact that he claims the experience had no negative effects on him... those two interlocking events lead to major abandonment issues for Jun. He quickly found it much more difficult to become attached to new people. After a while Jun started to completely give up on strangers, he still clung dearly to those whom he was already close with, but the fear of loss instilled in him lead him to avoid anymore "unnecessary attachments". Thankfully this problem never developed in terms of pokémon, his interest in Suicune and other legendary pokémon, as well as his resolve to complete the league assured that. However, apart from pokémon and family, Jun has no friends to speak of... and he downright fears gaining them as well. Though there might be a part of him that yearns for some sort of human comfort, he tries to ignore that urge completely.
"It's not that I hate you, don't get me wrong. You seem nice, but having a friend like you would be a burden. The emotional baggage, energy and time spent on you... all of that... I'm sorry but nobody is worth that to me... I really am sorry."

~ Shadow Sneak - The user extends its shadow and attacks the target from behind. This move always goes first.
~ ??? - An empty slot to be filled by a move yet to be learned.
~Jun and Honedge have an interesting relationship, Honedge's behavior tends to bring Jun out of his shell. Honedge knows this and for this reason she often does her best to cause Jun trouble and mischief. Jun never really puts Honedge in her pokéball as he feels he would get lonely without her. Instead Honedge often sits blade down in Jun's backpack, with her hilt and eye popping out of the top in a gap left by the two zippers. Alternatively she floats alongside Jun, though her being a ghost type makes some folk uneasy.~
"Honedge is a great pokémon with more strength than might be obvious from the get go... though I'll admit that it takes a while to see it considering she likes to fly around using swords dance in an attempt to look pretty."

~Kakuna has been with Jun for a week as Jun has been trying to evolve him into a Beedrill before facing Brock in the Pewter gym... unfortunately he has had very little luck in this regard. Like Honedge, Kakuna tends to bring a little bit more emotion to Jun's behavior. Unlike Honedge, Kakuna does not mean to do this and does it by being incredibly incompetent in battle despite trying incredibly hard to do well. Often staying out of it's pokéball, Kakuna can usually be seen sitting comfortably in Jun's pocket with his head occasionally sticking out to look around. Due to Kakuna's fairly crippling lack of speed and mobility, Jun will (in a rather hilarious display) often send Kakuna into battle by taking him out of his pocket and literally throwing him at the opponent pokémon. Following this up Kakuna will use bug bite to latch onto a target upon impact.~
"Kakuna... well, Kakuna tries really hard."
Accepted! Much better :) Have fun in Pewter City.bopdipopop

You sure you didn't leave the page idle for too long while you were typing, so that you got logged out? They have shortened the idle time nowadays on the site, so it can happen more easily if you don't preview your post now and then.I'm sorry if I haven't posted my story post yet. For some reason, PC kept on crashing on my Google Chrome. The site's fine on my tablet, but I can't exactly type on that thing.
This happens on both the Desktop and Laptop. Dunno why. The pages just go "Whoops! The Page Crashed!"

I'm pretty sure I keep mine on "Remember Me" so I don't have to bother with that.
And anyway, no. I just enter the URL for the RPC, and while Groudon and Kyogre loads (I use ORAS theme) it just crashes.
The threads are still loading, appearing one at a time, and then Poof! Gone. I guess it's the theme or something. I'll mess around with it a bit.
Ah, didn't see your edit! Sorry. I'll try to get it up tomorrow the latest. Is the same happening in different browsers?
Edit: Just waiting for Cerulean Cape so I can start my next post.
Nice, I'll check it out as soon as I can.Sorry for being away longer than I intended. Anyways, back now, and am about to restart posting.
EDIT: I have posted and await a decision on whether Zakk receives the Boulder Badge from Brock!
