Hi guys! Out of all your pokemon games you've played, what music do you think was the best? In all, I really like the champion theme from fire red and I want to know what you guys think!:)

In terms of anime, I believe Advanced Generation series had the best soundtrack; if you ask me, their music were pretty pleasing to the ears. In their own, unique ways, they would have you feel what they were set to; some would help you become motivated or inspired, and others would make you happy, sad, or anything else they might be aiming towards.

Advanced Generation series is the only Pokémon season I have found myself watching most, due to various reasons, so my response could be a little biased here, but I still do love their songs. Alongside, I also liked the ones from Original Series, and am liking the music they are putting out in X and Y currently. Least favorite would likely have to be Black and White, as they were rather slow and quiet (in my opinion).

A far as games go, one soundtrack I'm most fond of is FRLG's. They're bright, vibrant, loud, cheerful; they had never ceased of getting you into the mood of playing Pokémon. Due to similar reasons, I also like the music from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

I absolutely love the music from G/S/C and R/S/E. Also the Kalos Region's Elite Four battle songs are fantastic.

When it comes to music, the best pokemon games are the mystery dungeon saga by far. I could go on and on about how much i love their soundtracks xD. I guess my favorite track is when grovile and co part ways in TDS, but there are so many more that are just as good.

In regards to non spin-offs, i am a big fan of the music in FRLG and the original hoenn games. They seem to have the right tone, and i get very nostalgic when i hear them nowadays. If i would have to pick a champions theme, Cynthia's in DPPt is the one that sticks out to me. Although, i am a fan of gary's from FRLG as well.

I just listened to some of it and I'm personally moved by it cause of the rhythm

I totally agree, just the counteracting guitar in Gary's theme completes most of it, I feel like some newer games lack an original feel too it

2nd and 3rd Generation had the best music ever.

The 2nd Gen Remakes music was poorly done.
But, the 3rd Gen Remakes music is really well done!! <3

As far as the games are concerned, I'm split on whether I think G/S/C or R/S/E had the better soundtrack, so I'm going to give it a tie. Both had some memorable themes, and my two favorite tracks come from these games (G/S/C Game Corner + Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza battle theme).

In terms of the anime, my favorite music will always be that in Pokemon 2000. Lugia's Song is not only my favorite from the whole series, but it's one of my favorite instrumental songs of all time.

For me, I feel alot of the 8-bit pieces from R/B/Y, and then G/S/C were really memorable, just because those were my first games ever. R/S/E had much more advanced music, and alot of it still clicks with me. I wasn't too big on the music of Gen 4 or 5 with a few exceptions, and Gen 6 I really don't have any favorites other than maybe the Champion Battle themes and possibly some Legendaries. The remakes have some amazing music in my opinion, even though they are just redone pieces from the former games. I would think my favorite pieces at the moment are:
    1. Zinnia's themes (The Sorrow theme and her battle theme are the best)
    2. Pallet Town theme
    3. Pkmn Trainer Red/Johto Champion Theme (G/S/C/HG/SS)
    4. Team Rocket Battle Theme (G/S/C/HG/SS)
    5. Littleroot Town Theme
    6. Main Theme
    7. Miror B's themes (both of them)
    8. Lavender Town music
    9. S.S. Anne theme (The Pokemon ReOrchestrated version is the best)
    10. Regi Battle theme

For the games, I'd have to say that HGSS had the best soundtrack in my opinion. There were so many catchy tunes in those games. Some of the ones I really enjoyed were Professor Elm's lab, Cherrygrove City, Dark Cave, Route 30, Goldenrod City, Game Corner, National Park, Mt. Mortar, Route 42, Team Rocket Hideout, Blackthorn City, Dragon's Den, and Route 26. I also enjoyed all the battle music, as well as the surfing music.

In Terms Of Games all music are best. :)
but in terms of Anime Pokemon Orange islands opening song and Pokemon Advanced Generation music is the best :)

As far as the games go, hands down, I would have to say Verdanturf Town Theme just takes the cake for me. Something about it is so beautifully nostalgic and gives me nothing but sweet thoughts and memories.

Of course, the Floaroma Town Theme has some pretty sentimental memories for me, too. ;-; ♥

    Entire Pokemon music collection?
If I have to choose few, I dont know, hard to choose only few, but here are some that first come to my mind.

Distortion world and pretty much every single town in Sinnoh.
Vermilion city and Lavander town in Kanto.
Route 47/48, Ecruteak City in Johto.
As much as I love trumpets in Hoenn, nothing really stands out that much from what I remember, but lets go with Petalburg woods.

That is only a part of it. Pokemon is really filled with great music pieces.

I HAVE SO MANY FAVORITES, so many. I'll list a few, I'll really try to keep it a few. But there is so much great music. Nostalgic or just pure awesomeness.

    Spoiler:

Overall PMD2 is the game with the best music imo.

I would say Lavender, but only in the sense that the music really suited the town. The music was really creepy which really made the town memorable.

The best music for me is still the Legendary battle music from D/P. Other great tracks are; Meteor Falls, Rocket Hideout (G/S/C), Abandoned Ship, Sealed Chamber, X/Y Legendary Battle (this one took me by surprise) and The Flood.

Torn between RSE/ORAS & DPPT. I think DPPT has more standout tracks that I preferred, but both have collectively the best soundtracks overall.
