When you watch a show, do you prefer to watch in doses or just go all out and marathon? And with ongoing shows, do you wait for them to stop so you can just marathon them?

For me, I just watch what I can until I get bored. Last summer, I watched all seven seasons of Parks and Recreation (it did bleed into fall a bit though), and honestly I have no regrets. It was awesome to just have something to come home to and it was more of a very enjoyable challenge. And for ongoing shows I usually watch the day after, I get too eager to have to put off series for that long! I do know friends who wait months to be able to just spend a night watching, which I think is insane.

It depends on how long the episodes are and how it's broadcast. If it's a weekly show, I'll watch it every night a new episode comes out but I don't save a month's worth of episodes because I don't want it spoiled. If it's a streaming service like Netflix, then I'll watch maybe three episodes when I have the time to do so.

I frequently don't binge-watch because I always think my time could be better spent doing something else, nor do I often have the time to just marathon shit. plus that aforementioned feeling of being able to come home to a familiar show is very neat, so why rush?

There are some shows that I'll binge watch once a new season comes out. The upside is back to back episodes, the down side is completing the season in 3-4 days and then waiting another year for the next season like with oitnb. D:

I love binge watching! When I come to the point when you have to wait every weeks, it kills me x.x

From my experience, I binge watched A LOT when I discovered Supernatural. But, right now, fully caught up since the new season and I don't mind to wait a week for a new epsiode. Although, these random season breaks in the middle of the season, multiple times even, yeah that gets annoying and then something in the back of my head tells me I should've waited. But, can never see them coming, so I'll just have to deal with it.

There's quite some tv shows that I ended up binge watching until the point of being caught up to what they're airing live, and I must say it's probably my favorite way. Examples are like, binge watching The Blacklist until season 2, I binge watched almost everything of Prison Break, I binge watched Person of Interest until season 4. Binge watching and then being able to pick up an episode a week feels amazing.

As far as anime goes, I usually sort of tend to marathon 12-13 episode animes in one go, something like Noragami. Then the day after I go for the second season.

As of lately I haven't been really finding myself binge watching anything, though. I guess after all these shows and stuff I'm sort of burned out now. I should go watch a nice movie again.

Have bench watched all 13 episodes of Hai to Gensou no Grimgar after recommendations from here, other than that I will benchwatch season 1 (atleast) of Blacklist next weekend. Will try to keep it at 2 episodes each day untril then, so I stay awake at work. ;)

I almost always benchwatch my series. If I am awake at 5am, its most of the time because of that.

I will probably Bench Watch God Eater, since I had the game myself. after that some Koutetsujou no Kabaneri. Other than that not that many series on my eyes yet, so If you guys have any recomendations, let me know!

If anime or comedy, I can binge watch several episodes in one day as they're easier to digest for me than for longer episodes. For instance, I binge watched probably ten episodes of Brooklyn 99 (mainly because it was airing the same time as Agents of Shield, lol). Longer episodes I can perhaps binge watch a couple episodes a day if I really want to.

I've only ever binged a few shows, namely: breaking bad, LoK, and Nana. I also did this when I had a lot of free time. I don't usually like to do it that way, only because then the episodes turn into a continuously long one in my mind.
