My favorite legendary of the fifth generation?

Hmm... I'll have to go with Reshiram. I know I know, it's not a grass type. It was my first legendary I ever caught and I like the design. It has a unique typing and it's really powerful, so that's why.

Honestly haven't caught too many legendaries but Keldeo is pretty cool! Not because it represents something from MLP but just for its general cuteness and power. Small pokemon that pack a punch are really fun to use. It's a shame it can't shoot Ice Beam yet Rattata can do that perfectly. It's a mystery really. Nevertheless a nice pokemon that deserves to be amongst those swords of justice. :]

I'd have to go with Chandelure because of that special attack stat. Put a choice scarf on that thing, and you're ready to sweep. Once you get rid of the counters, of course.

If we're talking design, I'll still have to go with Chandelure. It took a while, but the design grew on me and I've never used Vanilluxe before, so it never grew on me.

Poor Phoebe never stood a chance. I thought that Coil would boost her stats up to acceptable levels. Acceptable wasn't good enough, as Serena's Charizard, Cherry, completely demolished her with a well-timed Air Slash. It was a fun battle, though, and I enjoyed it a lot~ I look forward to more in the future.

Mem today is a battle day as well so it is Double XP day. All battlers will reciev 200 BP on battle days. Next week starting on Monday and ending on Saturday will be Club Battle week. And It was a good battle

Sorry for being a party pooper, but this club has gone kiiinda off-course. Having battle events is fun and all, but once it starts being the focus of a majority of the posts, it's getting out of hand. I suggest creating a battle group or something on the Showdown Server, and keep the club entirely for the discussion and the chit-chat about the Pokemon and the generation, so that everything stays relevant.

So in short, no more battle talk in here. You're free to take it to PM's or wherever else it'd work, but it's just too off-topic for the club.

Wertcraft posted a perfectly good discussion topic, which only one person ever replied to, so I'd say it'd be a good starting point away from all the battle talk :)

What Gen 5 pokemon has the best stats? Why? Please No legendaries included

I say Excadrill. Here is his stats for you guys:​

Atk: 135
Def: 60
SpA: 50
SpD: 65
Spe: 88​

Because He has a High attack and he is actually still being tested to decide if he belongs in the UBER tier in smogon.​

Attack: 147
Defense: 90
Special Attack: 60
Special Defense: 70
Speed: 97

Haxorus might be missing a bit pf speed, but after one dragon dance, it becomes nearly unstoppable. It has decent bulk, so it can take a hit or two before going down. Not to mention one of the highest non-legendary attack stats I have ever seen.

HP: 74
Attack: 94
Defense: 131
Special Attack: 54
Special Defense: 116
Speed: 20

There's a reason Ferrothorn is one of the meta-game's premiere wall pokemon. Just check out those defenses. A usable attack stat doesn't hurt it either.

That is really true Slayr but it also comes down who is using what pokemon. I mean there are counters for all pokemon. So everything is better lol.

& the reason Excadrill got banned to UBER is because it can double it's attack with
Swords Dance & can double it's speed with Sand Rush during a Sandstorm.
By the way, I figure stat up moves works like this:
+1 = X1.5
+2 = X2
+3 = X2.5
+4 = X3
+5 = X3.5
+6 = X4


So after Swords Dance & Sand Rush becoming active, it's stats would be equalivent to this:

HP: 110
Attack: 270
Defense: 60
Sp.Atk: 50
Sp.Def: 65
Speed: 176

Yeah, not much in OU can match this...

Excadrill is pretty great yeah, and luckily enough he has decent speed to make use of his very high attack stat. I feel like Chandelure was really beasty in the games too though, given his massive 145 special attack.. it wiped out almost everything in battle when I'd used mine. When it comes to all-rounders, I'll echo those who said Hydreigon. His stats are wonderful all-around and he can do pretty much anything!

Yeah true. I never knew about that ability. I just went to a website lol. And I saw that the people said that it was testing to be in uber so I thought maybe this is the best. They also had Serperior at rank #10.

Without Sand Rush, I doubt Excadrill would be much of a threat.

88 speed isn't bad, but not great either...

& it's 110/60/65 defenses doesn't exactly impire confindence.
