The night was quiet for most, but it was also disastrous.
Ninja Aiden crept up to the window, there were lights on inside the house and he could see a group of people in green robes sitting around the dining room table. Well, all except for a familiar looking woman who sat on the lap of one of the Blarzigordians. It was almost strange seeing the Blarzigordians enjoying what seemed to be an ordinary meal.
He watched for a while longer, tensing when one of the Blarzigordians suddenly stood up. He thought he had been spotted but the criminal turned and walked down a hallway.
"That was close…" Aiden whispered to himself "I should go and report to the President since I didn't mention which houses I was going to examine tonight. This confirms the identity of one of the Blarzigordians though since I could clearly see his face, and that of the vile woman sitting on top of him. What the hell is she thinking?"
A metallic click interrupted Aiden's whispered conversation with himself
"A better question would be, what the hell were you thinking coming here alone ROA? Have we killed off or converted so many of you that you're resorting to dangerous solo missions?"
"Shit!" Aiden swore, whirling and reaching for his gun in a panic, but it was too late the hooded figure shot him in the chest as he turned. The figure then stood over him, smirking sinisterly.
"Your world is ending agent Ninja Aiden. Our new world is going to spring up from its ashes. Bye bye now." The Blarzigordian pulled the trigger again, finishing Aiden off. The agent's body fell to the floor, his brand new badge falling from his pocket to the ground.
Several hours later, the President received a phone call.
"Sir, I have some really good news and also some really bad news." The Analyst stated, her voice grim.
"What's the bad news, I'll water it down with the good news after" the President sighed
"We just got a call, someone found Ninja Aiden's body floating in the river. Someone had super-glued his badge to his head." The President almost threw up, this was very bad news indeed.
"Bloody hell, I hope your good news is
really after you tell me that."
"Oh it is sir, my program worked and I have compiled some very, very interesting data."
Ninja Aiden is dead. He was loyal to the Masses.
