Issue: blog comments borked

    dunno if this was already made, but every single time I try to comment on a blog entry it says my message was too short and makes me rewrite it in the advanced reply menu.
     
    I've had this issue now for about 4 months. It also happens when I try to publish a blog. If I hit back and then try to submit again, everything is fine for some reason. I'm currently using The Johto Elite, but have had issues on all skins.
     
    I can't reproduce this issue at all. ): Can you guys give me any more information? Any detail you could give here would be useful. What length does it say your comments should be, is it on your blog or others', when did it start happening, etc.
     
    Maybe it's if you make a short comment? I've had this issue for a long time now as well - glad it's not just me! I don't have details about it though because I never thought to consider it, but it might be short comments.
     
    It happens with me regardless of what length the comment is. It just always happens. Always.

    Been that way for 3 months I guess? I don't remember.

    So I... just managed to make this happen for me and now I'm even more confused than before. It only happened when I used Firefox - not Safari, not Chrome. Anyone else experiencing this? I don't think it's a usergroup issue since I've tried with several staff and non-staff ones now.
     
    oh I've been using firefox. I can't test it on chrome right now but I will and will get back to you.

    I use Chrome and Firefox both depending on if I'm at work or at home and I know this has happened to me before, so it could be browsers.

    e: just tried to comment on one of my own blogs with "Testing comment that is over 25 chars" and got the error on Firefox and Y-Axis.

    I can confirm the Chromatic skin doesn't have this problem. I'm still using this skin and I just commented on some blog entries and my comment went through with no issues.

    It's not a style issue. I just tested it on my browser in Chromatic and got the same problem.
