I have not had braces but I hope I get them, not saying that I have bad teeth. On the contrary I have very straight teeth but I want braces because I have an overbite. :D
 
Braces help a over bite. I have a overbite..
 
I have braces and let me tell you that it sucks. All my friends think that braces are cool because they "make you have more platinum than jesus" but they really aren't. They are so painful and if your lucky two days is your minimum for pain. Bottoms hurt more than the top... Grrrr I hate braces..... :) This post has been brought to you by Air, its everwhere... Lol, Dizzy. I think it was the other way around for me. ^_^ My bottom teeth never used to hurt very much, but it would beyond painful whenever I put pressure on one of my upper teeth. XD
 
I've never had braces. I've never needed them, because my teeth are shaped perfectly. :P
My sister had braces once but then she got retainers, but she lost both of her retainers, over and over again until finally the were lost for good. She then got a new pair. She's always clicking them so they may break soon. She just doesn't care much.

Well, I'm getting them as soon as my family can round up $3600. Man, othro is so expensive. Apparently I have crowding, an off-center jaw, and an overbite. Oddly enough, none of this is visible unless you're a professional. So go figure but anyway, I'm pretty happy. Heheh. I'm weird. But, the only problem is, I want to go to secondary school in another state, i.e. up North, and that means I'd have to switch orthodontists mid-process.... Yuck >.>
 
hmmm lets see.............i have had braces put on since i was 13 which i am right now which means they were put on this year........and my family has full dental and ortho coverage so no worries there for me.........hmm i am suppose to get them off in summer of 2005 but i think they might come off earlier because my teeth look good except for one tooth thats causing problems........grrr i hate braces i am counting the days till i get them off! At least my teeth will be fixed after........i hope........

I don't have braces. I've heard that it really hurts though.

No dental insurance? We don't have any now, though we did when I had to have them put on thank goodness. We don't for the implant though and it's really high. ;_;
 
I have to wear braces (well, more of this plastic thing) then i'm going to get the metal things. (i dont have very high vocab)
eheh- i'm going to have to get mine replaced AGAIN coz they just broke...must be the bad design *stupid wire*
either that or my mouth is shaped weird.
 
I want braces but i dont think i need them (not that i'm saying my teeth are perfect). :D
 
Well, I don't have braces, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to get some very soon.I mean, my teeth aren't all out of shape like you would expect, just like 1 or 2 a little out of place.My family has dental insurance, so I'm covered there.I don't think I would have to wear braces that long, maybe 2-3 years with them.And about the pain, like what they say, whatever doesn't kill ya just makes you stronger.Oh well, I'll live :P

Yeah but then there's retainers which may haunt you the rest of your life. =p Just imagine having to take them out before oh, I dunno kissing your girlfriend/wife etc. Of course that isn't as much of a problem if you only wear them at night...hmm. I didn't mean to scare you! o.o;

But I think it's really gonna hurt. I girl in my class got braces and she was crying 3 days straight from it. Poor girl...
I'll never want until my teeth are out of shape. My teeth is okay so I probaly won't need them for a long time anyway.
 
I've never had bracez and I doubt I'll ever need em. My teeth are really ztraight and healthy^_^ I juzt avoid too many zweetz and bruzh, zo unlezz I fall off a cliff, and whak my teeth on a table that juzt happenz to be at the bottem of the cliff I don't think I'll have to deal with em n_n

I do too, but I was born with these defects. =\
 
Personally I dont think they hurt as much as everyone says. People complain so much that they hurt. I just suck it up and forget about them and I dont feel any pain. I guess different people have different pain tolerences so i shouldnt be too hard on people for saying they hurt alot. Or people with braces may have different more sereious tooth problems than i do. I think my braces are only on for a year.
