For those who have actively taken part in bullying, what were your reasons?

I was indeed a bully during middle school. I dunno... I didn't much care for other people back then. Everyone just basically annoyed me; I always found it deplorable how people could act so... fake within groups to try and gain "popularity". At least that's how I felt.

That being said, people can indeed change, as I have.

I think I was only a bully towards the end of elementary school… honestly, the main reason was because they let me. I had an exemption from pretty much every rule, standard and norm fifth graders were normally held to, but I didn't have a consistent inclination or need to so it was probably occasional at worst. more often i had people orbiting me, not feuding lol

I used to be a bully in my grade school days. I was just kinda a shitty kid tbh.

I know I never did it intentionally but I could be a bully at times because I was being bullied and wanted to feel better about myself.

For the longest time I thought that I hadn't bullied anyone but thinking back on it there were at least 3 times where I did bully others verbally. I was being a douche plain and simple. There's no good reason to bully someone. This was before I had any major confidence issues so I can't even say I was trying to make myself feel better like some of you. My "reasons" for bullying were malicious spite, making others laugh and amusing myself in that order.
