There are more than a thousand languages in the world. Most people are bilingual, some may speak three to four languages or the special ones may know more than ten languages. So, the question is: How many languages can you speak?

    I'm fluent in English
I have a hard time in Tagalog, but I am pretty good, at least better than before.
I know many phrases, grammar and words in Japanese but I don't completely master it yet.
Spanish? Well we had Spanish classes but it was too basic and it lasted for a short while soo..
I'm learning Italian, German and Russian.

I'm actually native in both Spanish and English, but I've lost a lot of my Spanish through the years due to not using it nearly as much as English. XD

I know some basic Latin, French, and Italian, but not enough to call myself fluent. And I've been studying a little bit of Japanese lately.

I'm native in Portuguese, fluent in English and know a bit of Spanish and Japanese

Basic Arabic and basic French. I wish I had the time to learn more! I'd like to be more fluent in the two I mentioned and I'd also love to learn German, Italian, and Mandarin. Maybe one day :'D

My native language is English, but I know German well enough to sorta get along. I'm a bit timid in using it though. I can understand a lot of German though, as well as read it fairly well.

Why do a lot of people seem to hate German? I like it a lot. It's quite blunt. Goes well with my personality.

I'm fluent in English and Spanish (the latter being my native language).

I can also communicate in Catalan, but don't ask me to say anything complex XD

English is my native language, although I am also proficient in French. I can speak it well enough to hold a conversation with a native speaker, but I might trip up here and there and I'm not totally familiar with French slang or idioms. I've been learning it since I was nine, so I can speak it quite well.

I took Japanese and German language classes last year, and even though I'm no longer learning either of those languages anymore, I can still read very basic things in both languages.

I'm fluent in Hindi and English. (Hindi is my native language) and can speak some French which is the language I'm learning currently. Though, if I have to write I am a lot more better in English than Hindi.

I'm fluent in French since it's my native language and I guess my English is pretty good.
I also speak Spanish but this year I've lost my former level because of a bad teacher.
Then I can say one or two sentences in Japanese language.

English, Mandarin, bit of German, bit of Japanese, and that's pretty much it.

Because 1930's. What they don't realize is that most other countries have done worse, and the Germans were just more publicized and what not.

I'm not so sure that most people are at least bilingual, but I'm sure that a sizable percent of the population is.

Anyway, I'm fluent in English, and fairly good at French (I can only speak/write about 25% of the language, but I understand about 90% of it). I would also like to learn Russian, if only for my fascination of the Cyrillic language when I was younger.

Well, English is my native language, and I know basic Spanish also. I know a fair amount of French, and I may start learning Greek pretty soon. I know a smidge of Japanese, but thats it. I'm looking to earn a bit more than that.

Other Languages I am willing to learn:

Croat, Slovene, German, Czech, Armenian, Tagalog and Russian.

Got a big interest in Languages at the moment.

English is the only language I speak fluently.

I studied German in school, but I haven't practiced it in years. I might be able to pick out a common word here and there, but that's about it at this point.

My native language being Spanish, I learned English and Spanish at the same time span. Since my school used both, I speak both fluently and mastered them, so anything complex to me is no bother at all. I'm currently learning Japanese and Italian, although I'm planning on learning the basics of French next year.

I m fluent in English, Hindi (native language) ans Sanskrit (i m studying it in my school currently)
