Hello. I am buying another game for the 3ds, and I love many games. So I asked multiple forums for suggestions and this one too. So what is a very fun 3ds game you would reccomend me playing? I have currently 2 games:

    - Mario Kart 7
    - Pokémon Y
    - Pokémon Omega Ruby

And I'm NOT Interested in these games, for certain reasons I have

    - Super Smash bros 3DS (I have the wii u version)
    - Super mario 3D land or Super mario bros 2
    - Indie Games

For the rest, anything is fine!

Kid Icarus Uprising is a staple that everyone should have but nowadays it seems like no one does. Probably because, when it was a hit, the 3DS was considered the losing console. But I'd say it's among one of the best 3DS games you can get. So regardless of what you're into, definitely Kid Icarus Uprising.

Could totally wall of text this, but basically, Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates and Bravely Default are huge picks and they're pretty fun titles. If you like their genres, you'll definitely like the games in question. Virtue's Last Reward is one of my favorite games and is the sequel to another solid Puzzle/VN titles out there, I definitely recommend that. If you like a good Action RPG with a lot to do, Rune Factory 4 will fill that itch and many others. Fantasy Life as well, albeit to a much lesser extent.

And, of course, the Inazuma Eleven series is worth checking out if you want to try something different and crazy. The games are always cheap so they're worth checking out.

    - Hyrule Warriors Legends (if you don't want to buy the WiiU version)
    - Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
    - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (if you don't have the original versions)
    - Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright (or any 3DS game of those series)
    - the 3DS Fire Emblem games

For 3DS games, I would recommend the following:
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call (since you can play the music from more than 20 of the games in the Final Fantasy series)
    Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates
    Tales of the Abyss
    Mario and Luigi Dream Team
The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds
Bravely Default (game play is similar to certain titles in the Final Fantasy series since it was made by Square Enix)
    Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

I'm strongly considering Fire emblem. Fates isn't out yet here in europe so I'm probably going to play Fire emblem. BUT I'm also considering KIU, Bravely default, PSMD, and The legend of zelda titles. Thanks for the suggestions

    Tales of the Abyss
    Kingdom Hearts DDD
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Also it depends on your taste of genre. But these aren't my type but Fire Emblem games I heard are good.
Some games I wanna play, but never have. Persona Q, or SMT4. I only recommend these cause people have also recommend them, and you never know.

Do you have a New 3DS, or a regular 3DS? If the latter, you definitely should NOT be buying Hyrule Warriors Legends - it runs AWFULLY on it. It's well worth experiencing it on the New 3DS though, even if you've played the Wii U version, Just, lord, save yourself the headache otherwise.

Also, if you have a New 3DS...if you don't have Xenoblade Chronicles 3D yet, you need it. NEED IT. There is no finer JRPG to be found anywhere.

I'd also recommend checking out some of the old-school eShop titles if you didn't get a chance to play them the first time around - Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, etc.

You are doing yourself a disservice by not wanting indie games, as shovel knight and cave story 3D are excellent games in their respective genres and very cheap to boot. Ah well. If you are into RPGS and looking for a challenge:
Etrian Odysssey 4 and Untold 1&2
    SMT IV and Soul Hackers
    SMT Devil Summoner 1&2
If you are looking for RPGS that have little challenge but are excellent to play through:
    Bravely Default 1&2
    Legend of Legacy
    Fantasy Life
    Platformers, easy and challenging:
    Shinobi
    Donkey Kong Country
Stuff that you should try for the hell of it. Not excellent genre defining games, but are a blast:
    Rythym Thief
    The layton Games
    Final Fantasy Explorers
    Return to Popolocrois
    Project X Zone 2
How to screw up the Metroidvania Genre using ex-retro studio employees or taking the reboot concept to the series' roots and must be played as case studies of how to bore the hell out of the consumer
    Batman Arkham Origins Blckgate
Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate

Some of my favorites are... Pulls out extremely long piece of paper

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
There's a reason that this is a Nintendo Select. One of the best 3DS games out there in my opinion. Majora's Mask is also a good sequel-like game to it.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
This one's also a really good Zelda game. Plus, if you like the 3D, it's not so much that it hurts your eyes after a while.

    Kid Icarus: Uprising
    I loved this one. It has some pretty weird controls, and if your left-handed, like me, then your gonna have to change the controls a little bit. It also has some pretty funny parts as well, and the online multiplayer gets kind of addicting. {XD}

    Some others games:
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes - Great if you have two people to play with (that are sitting next to you, because some people troll on online multiplayer by throwing you off, etc.).
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D - I've never played it yet, but it must be good if they made a remake!
The E-Shop Works Wonders - Just like Meloetta said, you should check the E-Shop for older games, demos, and free stuff!

Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions!

I have a regular 3ds so Xenoblade Chronicles 3d and (Thank you Meloetta) Hyrule warriors legends are out of the question

    Tales of the Abyss
    Story of Seasons
    Return to Popolocrois
Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time
Legend of Zelda- A Link Between Worlds
    Animal Crossing- New Leaf

Buy either Fire Emblem Awakening (I recommend this the most, since it's a great gateway game into the FE franchise before playing Fates, and it's one of the best games on the 3DS, period), Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (And if you like Birthright, buy FE Fates: Conquest and Revelation, too), or LoZ: Link Between Worlds. All 3 are great games that I've 100% completed, and I feel like as a Pokemon fan, you'll enjoy them too!

    Some of my favorites are:

    Ultimate NES Remix -
I'm obsessed with old Nintendo games, so this game is perfect for me! While you don't get to play the entire games, you get to play little snippets of each one. That said, the snippets give you most of the game. If you're trying to 100% it, it will last for a long time!

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D -
I might just like this game because of the nostalgia from playing it on the GameCube Collector's Edition, but I think it's excellent! There are plenty of secrets and collectibles to keep the game fun even after you beat the main story, which isn't incredibly long. If you like any other Zelda game, you'll definitely like this one.

    Animal Crossing: New Leaf -
The amount of content in this game is unbelievable. I've been playing it for over two years and I still haven't gotten everything! This is a very different kind of game, and it's definitely not for everyone.

    Kirby: Triple Deluxe -
This is the perfect combination of winnable and challenging. The story is so-so, but the gameplay is great, the characters are cute, and the levels are creative! Like the others, this has a lot of collectibles that give it a boatload of replay value! The minigames are fun, too.

    I feel like a Nintendo salesman... {XD}

If you feel like trying something different, I recommend Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. It's a game that rewards you the more you learn about it. Albeit if you're a newcomer to the series, it may take you a while to get used to things. For one, you can't Hack'n'Slash in MH, even once you've got the best equipment in the game. It requires you to be strategic and to memorise patterns (i.e. when I see a Rathian take a step back, I instinctively roll to the side so that oncoming tail swipe doesn't knock me away and poison me). However, it is also one of the most rewarding games I have ever played. Nothing felt as great as when I crafted some awesome armour after I've spent a few hours hunting a monster (it doesn't take a few hours to hunt one, but you may need to hunt some of them multiple times to get the drops you need to craft said armour).
