Chores you hate doing

I don't live in a modern style house with a dish washer or garbage disposal, so doing the dishes ranks up there as one of the more unpleasant tasks. I am not bothered by the extra time needed to clean each glass, bowl, utensil etc by hand, what I can't stand is handling the drain stopper though. It is just gross to see all the food particles and residue from the dinner plates collected at bottom of the sink, and have to pick the wet waste out and empty it in the trash. Of course, I do it, if you don't you'll have an even worse mess with clogs in the sink that need a plunger, but cleaning the sink after washing dishes still makes me want to gag.

What chore do you think really sucks?

Cleaning the bathrooms! For me this involves removing everything from our white IKEA shelf unit, putting it in the shower, and washing it there to remove all the dust that gathered on it. This is exhausting and such a pain to do. Fortunately I did it yesterday so now I am free from it for a while

Lawn mowing.

The act of mowing isn't that bad.

However I hate having to lug the big machine out of the shed.

For me, it should be listening the boring speeches and boring lectures, as we are forced to do them like "chores", hence I need to attend them even though the topic doesn't aligns with my interest....

The dishes, I dislike having to get grease and grime on my hands to clean everything, and it takes quite a while if the sink is full.

I find laundry a little annoying these days since there's not a washer and dryer in my apartment. Have to walk all the way to the end of the building to the laundry room there to do it, and it costs money too.

Also cleaning the bathroom. I have to clean 10-12 bathrooms every day at work, so the last thing I want to do at home is clean yet another one.

I hate washing dishes. I'm not bothered by touching wet food so much as I am touching oil/grease. I absolutely can't stand the smell of a stinky sponge on my hands. I don't like the rubbery smell of dishwashing gloves either, but I suppose it's the lesser of two evils. Also I get too meticulous and have to scrub every last bit of grime off. I probably use more dish soap than necessary. It takes forever for me to finish washing everything.

Washing dishes. I hate dealing with hot water. It's a sensory trigger for me. x.x

Dusting. I have various collections of various things (books, statues, virtual pets) that make it difficult to easily keep it all clean of dust.

Also, I'd offer to wash everyone's dishes for them. That's a chore that I don't mind doing at all.

Really all chores are a chore, but cooking (does cooking count as a chore? I count it as one) I cannot stand. I can't even get myself to use the microwave I'm so lazy. I will never get my 99.

Dishes and taking trash out are fine as far as chores go, dishes can even be relaxing if you go at it with the mindset that it is.
