1/1/2015 - (Happy New Year!) Feeling much better! i just need to transfer the ROM to my new computer! Rom Is Transferred! Let's Get this ROM hack going!
31/12/2014 - Got a New Computer! I'm Sick so i can't work on the hack right now, sorry.
29/12/2014 - MrDollSteak's Rom Base has been patched onto the rom! Most tiles have been selected and will be inserted shortly. Check out the tiles in The "Tiles And Sprites" Section of this thread.

Q: When will this game be completed?
A: The first beta will be coming out in march and i hope to have the game completed by 2016!

Q: How many pokemon will be available in the game?
A: There will be around 350 pokemon!

Q: How many mega's will there be in the game?
A: I depends on the the outcome of the poll!

Q: Will i be able to complete the Pokedex?
A: You will be able to catch half the available pokemon in the main game and the rest in the post game!

Q: What is the Rom Base?
A: This is a FireRed rom, but i am using MrDollSteak's Decap. and attack rom base and JPAN's Hacked FireRed Engine!

Who I Am:​

I am TheRealOCD, I've been ROM hacking for about two years now. I've taken many "breaks"
from ROM hacking because i could never concentrate on the hack.......Until Now!​

Story:​

Pokemon FireRed Reborn Version is a ROM hack that takes place
after Red becomes the champion and becomes a father. In this Hack,
you are the child of Red. You go through the Kanto region 20 years
after your father wins the pokemon league. Your rival is Blue's son,
his dad wants him to hate you, but e actually looks up to you.
He will still battle you during the story. There are alot of changes
to the Kanto region for you to explore.​

Changes To The Maps:

The maps are going to be changed a bit! Below is a list of all areas in the games and what is different about it!

Pallet Town: Pallet Town is going to be bigger, More houses, a park and a bigger lab. They reason the lab is much bigger is because after your father (Red) became the champion of Kanto, He donated lots of his money to Professor Oaks Research Lab. It will also have a Gym which your dad owns! This is because your father wanted to settle down a have a family but , he still wanted to have pokemon battle.

Route 1: Route 1 will be about the same thing as the original, More free Items! There will be trainers on this route since you do not have to bring Professor Oak his parcel this time.

Viridian City: Viridian City Will not have a gym. It will look pretty much the same. There is no more old man to stop you from going to Route 2. You will get the PokeDex right after you get your starter! (You will automatically Lose the first battle With Blue's Son, He will leave and Professor Oak says that he feels bad for you and gives you the PokeDex) The city will now have more NPC's and a few more things to do! There will be a place where you can participate in a Pokemon tournament.

Route 2: I'm not sure yet!

Viridian Forest: Viridian Forest will be huge this time around! The encounter rate will be reduced and there will be a repel dispenser at the entrance to the forest! There will be over 20 new items and hidden items for you to find! There will also be more trainer (They are mostly optional)

Pewter City: Pewter city is a ghost town. Nobody lives there any more(Well Brock, his siblings and a few more NPC's) Pewter city will be using some tiles that were used in Oreburgh City in D/P/Pt. There will still be a gym and you will be able to fight Brock!

I like it will u be adding any custom sprites and maybe change the look of the protagonist since its kinda weird if hes his son wearing the same clothes and looking the same haha. And i assume since u have Megas u will have venusaur, blastoise, and charizards?

Good luck with the game bro!!! If you need help with making a regional dex, here's how i did it:
1. Any evolutions for exsisting pokemon
2. Go to bulbapedia's national dex listing and choose pokemon that fit in Kanto's terrain.
3. Set a limit of pokemon, let's say 260 for Kanto since it's a kinda small region, i've set 300 for Hoenn.

the pallette town house tiles and many others will not be changed, but the gyms, the poke center, the poke marts and some of the grass and other route tiles will be changed! i am also adding some!

I hope to have the kanto starters in the 4th or even 5th beta! i cant put in the 1st or 2nd becuase you wont be able to use it! (beta 1: 1st gym and beta 2: 2nd gym Beta 3: 3rd gym) your pokemon wont be evolved as this point in the game!!
