Maddy has told me that those classes are just a recommendation, you can create your own class as long as some explanation is included. You can confirm with her, but I think that's how it is.

From what I've seen, you pick one from this:

But after that you can get other kinds of items and just change your class on a whim. For example, I'm probably gonna make up an Enchanter class! Also you can change your Daemon at any point too apparently!

(I do think there should be some kind of shop and need to pay to change your Daemon actually. Or some kind of penalty. But Maddy said it's free and easy, I think)

seriously I think implementing a money system and stuff and giving us stores with items and then customizable stuff and everything would be so fun //likes rping systems like that

I don't think I want a strict system where we get money and such. I like freedom 8) We can pretend there's a money system right? Or maybe it's actually been mentioned in a GM post and I, uh, missed it somehow... Dave talked about "spheres" to pay with in our JP.
 
well we don't need a strict system. but like open up stores and be like "buy these things here!" and make it so we actually have to do things to earn things

Just as our kind Moderator said, we use that chart simply as a place to start! Once your character starts buying weapons or spells, you can easily change the class to whatever you like! Great looking SU so far!

Good looking SU so far, although we do have some questions! Is Lonely Stone an actual guild or just a way to say he isn't apart of one? Also, do you typically write in present or past tense?

@ adventure and Nakuzami (and everyone tbh): As of right now, Floor one is open to whatever you guys feel like when it comes to shop prices and such. Spheres are the form of currency (as stated in the OP) and as an example: 600 Sph. would probably be the price of a basic weapon or armor.

I would say most mobs would yield only 15-30 Sph. while quests would obviously offer more.

As of right now, I would keep FLOOR 1's shops at the bare minimum (meaning basic items. Small potions, weapons, spell books, clothing, etc.). Maddy and I are currently trying to decide how things should go in the future, but for now, things should be okay!

As a reminder, keep in mind we decide rewards and such for quests. Also, characters do not level up with every kill, otherwise. 500-something wouldn't have been the highest level before this mess! As you gain levels, it becomes harder to gain Exp. Points just like any other game! (Again, Mads and I are still working out a few things.)

Past that, great work everyone! We've enjoyed all the posts so far, keep it up!

Wow, rather pricey low-level items. Looks like we'll have to go on killing sprees if we want anything decent.

Journey <3 aaah I can play that game infinite times over and over. Basically the urge to play that was what made me buy a PS3 in the end xD I have you to thank, Maddy.

No, I'm not a lazy bastard just so you guys know. Right now I'm just standing in front of a machine watching it slowly vacuum pump water away from the sample substance I want, which I yesterday ran through a column of microbeads to change one chloride atom on each repeating unit of a polymer into another ion. :]
