Especially if it was like a skull or something.

Not saying I'd ever get a skull, but w/e.

Precisely. If they see a tattoo, and they manage a retail business, they're going to think that the tattoo could scare off potential customers.

The person who is intimidated/ scared off by an tattoo is either a whimp or just horribly prejudiced....

Good example of prejudice is old people....

And business people care what their customers are? As long as they get money, they don't care.

I refer you to this:

Money's all that matters to these people.

But I'm neither old nor judgmental of people with tattoos... I'm gonna get a tattoo on my wrist one day to cover my scar I got after the operation I had this year.. :3

Depending on what you get (and how bad the scar was), that might be an improvement over a scar from a public image standpoint for any business owner. If it's flowers, they probably would prefer a flower tattoo over a scar.

It's actually not noticeable at all... Excuse me for asking.. But where on earth do you live... You sound so vain/shallow that it makes my eyes bleed...

I'm from Minnesota (which is a state in the United States). Though that does not automatically make me vain/shallow.

I'm kind of basing my assumptions on tattoos and stuff from what I know of business managers in my area (they aren't very tolerating of much... even a small amount of stubble or slightly longer than normal hair makes many of these managers balk at hiring someone, as does dyed hair).

I see... And you aim at becoming one of them managers?

What Don said applies to most places in the U.S., believe it or not. Any time you apply for a job, appearance is everything. You're judged on your hygiene, what you wear, things like that. I absolutely hate worrying about appearance, but it's extremely important in most jobs.

However, just like Don (strangely enough), I'm also going to be entering the IT field. IT people don't have to look all nice or anything, because you could get dirty cleaning computers, and doing whatever it is that you're required to do. Not only that, but various types of clothes can build up a huge amount of static, which is not good when working inside a computer. It could completely ruin it.

I read this thread and I completely laughed at Angela's comment about Don. XDDDD

Also it is true that Don and Adam are simila-- wtf I was gonna call him XDude again... o_o;

And I thought ya'll were talking about Kevin Rudd. XDD

I feel bad for copying Erica's signature layout. D8

wow Will, that's really similar o_o;

I once stole whoever used the sparkles. XD

Technically it's a little different because she uses cool symbols and stuff. D:

I always have to have my signature organized. I don't know why but I wont be satisfied until it is. Thats why I'm always changing themes and my style.

My current signature is very rare for me. I'm usually one to go all fancy with the css codes, but for this one, it's just a simple Image=left & size=1, that's it.
