I'm very unfamilar with the Mac file systems, unfortunately...I only know of FAT, FAT32, NTFS, ext2, ext3, ext4, ReiserFS, and that's it. XD
I want a Mac so badly. There's a Mac at work that I sometimes like messing around with. It's quite fun. (I always enjoy new operating systems, though.)

Actually Sun Microsystems are the real brains behind the ZFS files system and it's main distinguishing feature is that it inserts little bit sized checksums every few bytes allowing it to constantly monitor your data's integrity so that you don't get those occasional data corruption or missing file messages.

Wow...I did some reading on ZFS. Seems quite impressive. It's nice to know that it will also be possible to use that file system on Linux, but I probably won't use it.

It's worth a try, archer. At least then if you don't like it you can say you've tried it. I hope things get better for you.

I can only hope that Microsoft comes up with something like that in their next file system, or that they strike some deal with Sun and nab a license for ZFS. (Journaling filesystems like NTFS help the corruption problem but they don't fix the problem)

I cbf going and changing everything. I'll just use XP and my skin that's been on it for like ever. XD;

You must be very lazy, then, Jess. XD *shot*
I love trying out new computer stuff. I use beta software all of the time. I like to try and break it. XD Fun, very fun.
I wouldn't try a beta filesystem, though.

I would love to try out a beta filesystem, not to use for my main system, but I would love to be on the cutting edge of a newer, better filesystem.

If I had an extra hard drive, I'd love to try out a new filesystem. I currently run beta OSes on my main computer though. I wish I had another one I could use. XD

Then the end is near and we should be dead in 7 days. Heck, I won't mind dying. I already got my place in Hell saved.
...Sadistic, much?

<Is happy now.

I just had to fix my XP installation, so I'm not terribly keen to do anything major right now. It seems like tons of people use XP with a theme, too. Zet, Styler seems to have been what caused the screw-up. Curse you for recommending it. :D

Listening to:
"Yellow" - Coldplay

The current topic seems to be many things, actually. XD I'm not even sure what it is.
I haven't seen you online in a while, Xairmo.

Hey, X-626!
Yeah, I got into trouble IRL and my parents took away my phone and internet and car. D:
The two topics I csaw were Hell and music. XD What music do you all like?

Oh, that sucks. Glad to see you back, though. XD
I mainly listen to country, but here lately I've also been listening to pop.

Well, at least that's over. XD; Good to see you back, X. (Crap, I also call X-626 X, what am I going to do?! D:)

I like any music with a good beat (sometimes message). No country though.

Thanks, good to see you're still here buddy! ^^
I'm not a big fan of country. I like most any kind of rock. <3
