I HATE REAL LIFE PEOPLE.

Reason: We're doing a documentary for media tomorrow. A certain person is writing the script. She thinks another person is perfect for narrator/reporter. I want to be a journalist/reporter. The other person wants to be a teacher. I can't argue because it is three against one. It would be a good opportunity to demonstrate my abilities and put it in a portfolio.

Whatever. ^_______^

In other news I don't like that this thread makes me lose the game.
 
Just talk to the girl who wants to be a techer and tell her to say that she'd rather you do it!

I've only just woke up. I hate waking up in the middle of the day (it's 14:30 in England)
It's annoying because I prefer to sleep in the day, so I can't ever win.

I just woke up...an hour ago. Because my mom woke me up. And now I have to go DX

Not long after, she followed the same false hope of the previous fate except this time she had a chance to make a difference. Like the other opportunities, it disappeared so easily. Back into a world in which she had nothing to have true determination for. The knowledge and mindset had allowed another thought to enter her mind. This remained for a long time, but like every other chance it dissolved as if she had no control.

Stuck in self pity, she pitted many forces against each other, hoping to cure the fear and the belonging that there should be something inside of her. Now a few months after each journey, she realises sacrifices were made for the ones in which deserve said opportunities even more than her.

She faded back into the world in which her desires might appear in the future one day.[/jq]
 
Iunno. I was thinking about how bad my life is, then I read some of the posts and I was like

Guys guys guys! I'm meeting my friends Mom tomorrow. Any tips on making a good impression?
 
Actually, it's my friends Girlfriends Mom xD

Still, I get along with her and she can't hang out with me if her Mom disapproves of me DDD8
 
Well there you go.
  • Well, try find something in common with her before hand. I met my girlfriend's mum a few weeks back, and she lived in Clifton when she was younger. I life here now! XD
    It sparks off conversation.
  • Don't talk too much about your girlfriend. Don't want her to think you have a one track mind.
  • Be nice and receptive.
  • Don't be all over her when her mum is around and don't hold her hand when you are with her or anything like that. Parents don't like to see that normally.
  • P's & Q's. Don't forget please and thank you :P

That should help.
It is also nice to say thank you for having you or nice to meet you when you leave.
Trust me, been in many of those situations where I need to impress quickly =]
