...thanks for reminding me we need to write up lots of notes for Friday's exam. D:
I'll do it tomorrow, since today I'm too lazy to. XD;

I have a computer programming assignment to finish up. Fortunately, I haven't been procrastinating for once and the project is basically done already, except for the finishing touches.

And Century Gothic FTW.

I love Century Gothic. It's nice, but looks terrible if it's not the right font size. XD

(And looks bad in italics, too).

*Flaunts Comic Sans in his signature in Live_Wire's face*

I use Lucidia Grande as my default font on PC. It's been that way for a year or so. Serif fonts and COMIC SANS FTW! :D
Comic Sans is horrible because a) it's overused and b) you just can't take it seriously. Look at it. It's like the sort of font you'd use if you were writing up a resume for Sesame Street.

You can't take it seriously is exactly why I like it! :D

I always make my professional documents use Times New Roman out of habit, though.

I used to have a love for Comic Sans for unknown reasons, however I've recently found it horrible through out the years as it does not stand out on mostly anything these days, I've had a like for Arial and Tahoma for a while now, and it's going to stay that way, I think?

AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!! Comic Sans?? Times New Roman?! What treachery of the basic principles of graphic design is this? You sicken me! :P

Comic Sans MS and TNR are a massive taboo. They are possibly the most overused fonts in the universe. Anyone who uses them (even when their intentions are good) are branded evil for life. Evil, I tell you. Any publication that even attempts to conceive of the thought of using either of them seriously should be plunged into the depths of hell.

... OK, rather strong feelings there, sorry. ;) I always get mad when it's overused, especially Comic Sans in the most inappropriate places. Pour éxample...

Spoiler:

I don't know about you, but I think that seems a little wrong. :|

(Unrelated note: Who else was at the student protests today in London? We kicked ass!)

TNR is my default choice for papers and resumes because, well, that was the MANDATORY font in school for writing assignments. I also rarely see any publications use it anymore. They've pretty much all switched to Arial or a sister font, which annoys the hell out of me because it and its sister sans-serif fonts are so common on the Internet, and I get sick of them when all my media displays in those fonts, which are all the same in my eye, with slight differences I'm not gonna notice unless I'm the one editing the material.

And, seriously, TNR is not taboo. IT WAS A STANDARD at one point, which is why you perceive it as "overused".

Personally, though, I barely see any differences between Lucidia Grande and Times New Roman, the former being my default font for PC.

That is a very terrible usage of it. It gets people's attention, though, which I'm sure is what they wanted.

I pay about $6500 a year for a smaller two-year college/university here in America and I am shocked that universities in the UK cost about as much as my schooling does right now. Of course, I consider not working at least part time while in college/university a luxury, as many of my peers from my graduating class work part time in addition to going to school.

And I was too lazy to remove your font formatting.

Meh, Tahoma > everything. Game over. *shrug*

(Interesting perspectives though, I must say. I'm not into fonts because Tahoma is sufficient for me.)

/thinks LiveWire is Ryan's twin due to them looking similar

Annndddd... Tahoma is an awesome font but sometimes makes posts seem kinda boring on PC? :(

IRL. XD If you look at the post your pics thread, you'll see... they're really similar. I don't notice that in PC users too often, though.

I haven't change my Facebook pic in about a month. Haha.

We should do our own little post your picture thread. Oh wait, I did that about a year ago and it died XD
