We went over that already. I have no idea where the hell people are pulling them from when I cannot see it anywhere on the scans.
 
Skateboard, cool! Looks like some of the manga as gone canon! Sept 11th... Please tell me thats the Japanese release date and not the US's

wow simply, i love the lugia and ho oh art simply stunning much nicer than the previous ones, horray the pokegear is still our and it looks magnificant!!!
 
I told all of you that there would be an early leak.

-Gold still looks pretty much the same with a new outfit, so I don't mind.

-I'm a little disappointed that they changed the female trainer(Crystal looked better in my opinion) but it's not that big of a deal, I figured something like this would happen, and I'm happy to play through Johto again.

-The First person intro to the sprout tower looks cool

-I'm loving the new area screenshots

-Mareep's new Sugimori! I LOVE IT!!!!!
 
someone was wondering if Cut would be in, and it obviously is. I mean, I expected it to be in, but i guess you can't be certain till you really know. And as for the girl, earlier, I said I hated her (not personally... lol). At first, I didn't like Dawn, but now I like Dawn as well. I could get used to her. But still... that hat... and no Crystal...

I kind of feel bad for the new female character because I know that people across the Internet will hate her for replacing Crystal.
 
I wouldn't have too much beef if she was better designed...

Red's Redesign wasn't bad because he didn't look ridiculous. Lucas turned out worse in platinum. Crystal...idk wth they did with her.
 
I won't mind her too much if they make her an interesting character in the game, seeing as according to what people read from the text in coro (on serebii so assuming true for now) she'll have a similar support-like role to what Dawn/Lucas had... (btw I'm choosing the guy character as I am...well, a guy XD). I like Silver the best in all of the main handheld the games not because of his looks, but what he did and how he acted. And that he had character development and what-not. That's the main thing I'm looking for, and frankly as long as Silver isn't wrecked/overshadowed by the support character too much, I don't mind so much.
 
Well this is very unfortunate... =( Though at least the female character still looks good. But I don't see what the problem was with using Crystal. I mean, it is a remake, after all... unless they plan on having her somewhere else, as an NPC? Thankfully, it isn't game-breaking. Though we have a new female character, we can still hope that with the exception for a few very likely minor changes, the Johto we all know and love will remain the same. =)

As for the Pokemon art, save for Wobbuffet, (the only Johto Pokemon I hate with the fiery passion of Ho-oh's Sacred Fire) it all looks really awesome. I particularly like the Ho-oh art. I'm looking forward to seeing more as time progresses. ^^
 
Those entry pics (well, just sprout tower) look good. they were actually one of the little cool things in FR/LG, adding a little sense of where you were. Mind you, in FR/LG they all looked kinda similar. But with the way the game is made with all bright colours, they help add atmosphere. So, it's one of the little things that I am glad to see return.

Could it be this new girl IS Crys? They never were consistant with her hair color when it came to the Manga. I mean it was brown then blue then brown then blue and now possibly and permanently brown. But the Manga doesn't affect much but you never know..

But the new female Is Thinner and well....Shorter? 0_o

Anyway they should Showed us Silver though.Maybe in the next scan?
 
True. I'm just posting crazy talk. Anyway the new gold looks great compared to the old one. It seems like he did have the zipper back then but still I called zipper to be more visible
 
Not sure what to think about the girl in the first scan. Perhaps she's the redesigned character you play as, or maybe she's the third rival? They had Lucas and Dawn, so I don't see why they wouldn't use the ginger kid and her. Either way, her outfit isn't too awesome.

And the Pichu screenshot looks pretty cool. I'm guessing it's an event of some kind.

Also, the scans managed to prove that your starter does indeed follow you around. Don't know whether to be happy or sad about that.

I say they took in some new ideas, old ideas, and used ideas and made this new girl in replace of Crystal. She's alright and she's not terrible...At least we can still say we are getting the remake after 10 years since the originals.+

Sept. 11th not a bad release date for Japan, as I expect it might hit the US in March or April once again. Perhaps late February is things go right for them.

Seeing that the other character that we don't choose will have some supporting role is pretty nice, I wonder if it will affect the storyline in anyway. I think it would be pretty cool if they made her some Contest Girl...Give her some kind of career other than some aid or assistance to the Prof. or whoever.

Skateboard, er why can't it replace the bike? I think it's a cool idea an dI'm looking to hear more about it. Along with the extended WiFi features.

She is indeed a new character and she will indeed add the 3 players in game thing of DPPt. Just if you are a girl neo-gold will take that spot. I love her outfit except for the ood bulge in her pants. XD
It is indeed an event. Seems to me its unlocked through the event Pichu like unown lord and I guessed.
I will be very happy as this could mean interaction. Oh and rocket grunts laughing at your weak look while having a 6 foot neck on fire marsupial grunting angrily next you.That alone is worth the game.
