    Torterra @ leftovers
    Ability: Shell armor
    Nature sassy
    EV's 252 Sp.def / 251 / sp. attk / 7 attk
    - Grass Pledge
    - Synthesis
    - Outrage
    - Grassy Terrain

    How is that a counter?

Lanturn moves first and uses Ice Beam on Torterra.

252 SpA Torterra Giga Drain vs. 196 HP / 60 SpD Lanturn: 200-236 (45.4 - 53.6%) -- 40.2% chance to 2HKO Grass pledge has 80 and giga drain has 75 so I used it as comparison. Cause pledge is not in the calculating options.
    4 Atk Torterra Outrage vs. 196 HP / 0 Def Lanturn: 145-171 (32.9 - 38.8%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO

    252+ SpA Choice Specs Lanturn Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 252+ SpD Torterra: 364-432 (109.9 - 130.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

  • Heatran@Air Balloon
    Ability: Flash Fire
    Nature: Timid Nature
    EVs: 252 Special Attack/4 Defense/252 Speed

    Move set:
    Lava Plume
    Earth Power
    Flash Cannon
    Toxic

Oh what's that Charizard X, you sacrificed one of your dragon stabs just to use Earthquake as a coverage move for Heatran? Well what if that Heatran was lifted up by an air balloon and you can't pop it, because you sacrificed your Dragon STAB move in place of Earthquake. Oh yeah, and did I mention Flare Blitz and Will-O-Wisp only make Heatran's fire attacks stronger via Flash Fire.

So toxic stall or death by Earth Power for Bulky Will-o-wisp Zard X.

  • Altaria@Altarianite

    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Special Attack

    Moveset:
    Hyper Voice
    Draco Meteor
    Heal Bell
    Roost

    0+ Atk Mega Charizard X Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Mega Altaria: 73-87 (20.6 - 24.5%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

    4+ SpA Mega Altaria Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 142+ SpD Mega Charizard X: 300-354 (83.5 - 98.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    4+ SpA Pixilate Mega Altaria Hyper Voice vs. 248 HP / 142+ SpD Mega Charizard X: 135-159 (37.6 - 44.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Poofy the Mega Altaria: heals burns, tanks Earthquake, and heals the damage off. Dragon Claw does nothing to it, and Poofy in turn can Hyper Voice Mega Charizard X to death or destroy it with Draco Meteor.

'sup bruh! Can freely set up and plus Roost only has 16 PP so stalling Shedinja out wouldn't work.
    +6 252+ Atk Shedinja Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Altaria: 151-178 (42.6 - 50.2%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO

  • Clefable@Leftovers
    Ability: Magic Guard
    Nature: Bold
    252 HP/252 Def/4 SpDef

    Move set:
    Calm Mind
    Moonblast
    Softboiled
    Thunder Wave

    252+ Atk Choice Band Salamence Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 162-191 (41.1 - 48.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

    0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Salamence: 264-312 (79.7 - 94.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Clefable comes in, paralyzes Salamence with Thunder Wave, heals off the damage possibly dealt to it by Earthquake with Soft-boiled, gets off a calm mind, and proceeds to decimate it with Moonblast.

    Nature: Sassy
    252 HP/252 Sp.Def/4 Def

    Move set:
    Earthquake
    Heavy Slam
    Aqua Tail

    Steelix when switching:
    0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Steelix: 46-54 (12.9 - 15.2%) -- possible 7HKO

    Steelix after mega evolving:
    0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Mega Steelix: 36-43 (10.1 - 12.1%) -- possible 9HKO

    0 Atk Mega Steelix Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 276-326 (70 - 82.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
    0 Atk Mega Steelix Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 115-136 (29.1 - 34.5%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

The only reason it wouldn't be a 3HKO is because of Softboiled and it only has 16 PP. I could take out all PP with switching to Aqua Tail/Thunder Fang to run its PP down.

Ah dammit if I got here sooner I could've used Specs Machamp against Zinnia's Specs Ferro =(

    But for the Hydreigon counter:

EDIT: Shit I forgot to put in moves but now there's moves thanks for pointing that out Zeffy
    Clefable_XY.gif

    Clefable w/Life Orb
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Magic Guard
    EVs: 252 HP, 160 Defense, 96 Sp.Defense
Moves: Moonblast, Flamethrower, Calm Mind, Soft-Boiled

    252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 96+ SpD Clefable: 136-161 (34.5 - 40.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

    And Moonblast wrecks.

    Why Jolly+Ice Beam?

Guarantees the 2HKO against physically defensive Lando-T/Garchomp/Gliscor, common counters, though Ice Punch is better against Sp.Defensive Gliscor. Suppose I could've ran Ice Punch anyway though.

Mega Swampert would have been a little bit better, but I'm not particularly sure, how megas are handled here. Do you switch in the unevolved Pokemon first and let it mevo in the next turn, or can we just assume that the Pokemon is already mega evolved on the switch in?

It's probably more of a check than it is a counter, but w/e

Also: I hate you two. (not really though <3)
