Appearance: Due to a freakish disease having affected him a week after his birth, Aidan has the left side of his face plagued with black rot, leaving him with a pair of mismatched eyes, one green and one entirely black. In a coincidental way, his face is representative of his dual nature, with both sides representing his corrupt and calm self. The disease also left him with an unnatural growth pattern. Aidan's towers well over a foot taller than the rest of his species, standing at just about 4'8". Along with that, he is gifted with a stocky build, a muscular chest that he can proudly puff up to show his pride, but the disease also gave him much skinnier arms and legs, making him appear to be terribly unbalanced.
Aidan is a shining example of personal hygiene. His nails are always clean and extremely sharp, as sharp as needles. His scales are always shining, his cream underbelly always smooth and his head always held high. His tail burns with a green flame rather than a red one, and flares up to become blue when enraged. All in all, Aidan almost looks like a mutant Charmeleon.
He is always seen wearing a purple cloak on his back, with the gold insignia of the Gold Tribe, and the symbol of his own noble family - a bright green flame. He also wears a necklace which is in the form of a small flower.
Personality: On the exterior, Aidan is a perfect member of the Gold Tribe - he treats his people like equals, and his fellow members as family. He places honor above his own needs, favors solving fights with words and always makes sure justice is upheld at any costs. But inside his mind, it is a raging battlefield between his own corrupted self, and his newly found ideals and beliefs as a Gold Tribe member.
Aidan is, in his true form, bigoted, arrogant and power hungry. He places himself over everybody else with his utmost motive being survival at any cost, and living a fine life while doing so. He is a master with words, and a veteran war tactician with often radical strategies that often border on unethical. He understands one of his great strengths is his odd appearance and isn't afraid to use it to his advantage when he is intimidating someone. He, for some reason, harbors a deep hatred against Pokemon who have type mastery in Grass and Bug. His speaking manner and his overall swagger is highly representative of his highborn birth and upbringing.
However, after graduating from ECUL, Aidan is somewhat a changed Pokemon. He has grown more tolerant of others, learned to honey his words a bit before speaking his mind and refrain from his natural tendencies to speak bluntly. He has tried to align himself with the Gold Tribe a lot more ever since joining. He makes active efforts towards aiding Pokemon in help, no matter what type they are. But still, during darker days and darker times, his older personality seems to take a hold of him and he returns to his older self.
One of the few positives about Aidan is that he is no craven on the battlefield. He has managed to completely crush his old "flight or fight" instincts, now managing to stand his ground on the battlefield without fleeing like he used to. But, even though he fights with honor, he does not fight with courage or bravery. He rarely takes initiative in a fight, with his style bending more towards the defensive rather than offensive. He prefers to stand back and watch rather than charge in and attack. He takes part and fights in a battle only as a duty, nothing more, nothing else. He takes no joy out of the practice. Aidan prefers to pull the strings behind the scenes and watch the chaos ensue, rather than take an active part in the fighting himself.
For personal habits, Aidan is addicted to moo moo milk. He is almost always seen with a flask full of it, occasionally sipping it in between his usual scheming. Although he is addicted, he seems to be able to hold his drinks well, for he has never been seen under its usual dulling effects. One can also see Aidan often practicing speeches and language with himself in front of a mirror, using several tones and voices to get the most out of his beloved words. He can clearly be seen enjoying the sound of his own voice.
Finishing off, it is easy to note that Aidan actually suffers from some sort of dual personality disorder, and Aidan actually knows it himself.
History: Aidan Wyldfire was actually born Aidan Firewalker, the firstborn of Quentin Firewalker, the leader of the Firewalker tribe in Hesperia. The Firewalkers consisted of Pokemon that excelled in fire, dragon, steel and rock types. Soon after birth, Aidan was soon struck by a terrible disease, leaving his face damaged and with partial blindness in one of his eyes. He was soon found to be growing abnormally as well, growing taller than others in his species but his arms and legs grew normally. Despite his freakish appearance, his father treated him like any father would treat their child, with respect and love. Many spread rumors about Aidan being spawn of the devil but his father dismissed all rumors. But secretly, Quentin Firewalker and his wife repeatedly tried for another son, so that the spot of leader could be passed on to an heir who wasn't perceived in such a bad light as Aidan was.
Aidan grew up being heavily invested in learning about language, tactics and advanced warfare. He learned a bit about fighting, but mostly enjoyed learning in the classroom than in the battlefield. When he was around 8, his brother was born. Clarke Firewalker was born normal, and differed from Aidan in almost every way. He was more shy, but leadership came naturally to him. After his birth, everybody's attention turned to Clarke and Aidan was indirectly pressured to give up his right to leader and instead let Clarke take up the spot. After about 6 years of this, when Aidan was around 14, he gave up his right and bestowed it on Clarke with his blessing.
After that, he decided that he was going to join the Elite Guard of the Firewalker tribe, so that he could stay far away from the politics of his family and instead work in the politics of the army. After training in fighting and learning about the army for about 6 more years, Aidan finally worked his way into the Guard. Once he was in, he spent a lot of time sucking up to their captain. After using his family name, some loopholes in the promotion system and some honeyed words, Aidan worked his way to becoming the right hand of the Captain having only spent one day out in the field. 2 years later, the Captain passed away and Aidan replaced him.
For quite some time, things were good for the Firewalker family. Clarke and Aidan's father passed away, and Clarke was finally named leader after him. The Guard was getting stronger and the Firewalker tribe was getting more powerful by each day. But one day, on Clarke's birthday, Clarke was found dead under mysterious circumstances, and it was suspected to be an assassination. Because of this, the Guard which was also responsible for the protection of the leader came under fire, and many blamed Aidan for the Guards inability to defend Clarke. Once again under pressure, Aidan found himself to be in a situation which he had been in years ago, and he decided to resign from the position and escape from the whole tribe altogether. Changing his name to Aidan Wyldfire, Aidan imposed an exile on himself, travelling to the Exathian College of Union and Liberty, where he spent his years training to join the Gold Tribe. After graduation, Aidan still provides his valuable advice to Garland Fordring and his Second in Command.
