In this day and age we are always getting bombarded with images in the media. Pictures telling us "You need to look like this or you're not attractive" or even everyday people making comments on what other people look like. Breast enlargement surgery, or even breast reduction surgery is a pressing issue in our society.

So.. out of curiosity, I wanted to know: as a woman, what do you secretly wish your cup size would be/ do you like your body the way it is now? OR as a heterosexual/bisexual/pansexual man, when you imagine your "perfect" woman, what do you picture her breast size to be? Do breast sizes really matter to you?

What is really your opinion on Breast surgery? Does it give women (who have nursed, for example) their femininity back? Or does it give them a false sense of beauty?

And for the girls: Would you ever consider getting breast surgery?

Edit: Also.. what you'd find acceptable and what you think is your IDEAL are two different things; the poll is relating to your "IDEALS."
Edit: How do I edit my poll to allow multiple-selections instead of just one? @___@

Edit2: For those guys who say "I don't care" about a woman's breasts.. then would you not care if you dated a girl with saggy breasts or breasts of two different sizes?
If you're really advocating that breasts really don't matter to you, then why or why not would this be okay for you?
I was just curious on your opinion.

Well, I will start off about breast surgery, it is fake and horrible, obviously! XD
I don't like it and never will.

As regards to the 'perfect size', personally, I don't really have a preferred size. However, huge is just horrible :/. Personally anyway.

I think girls have the right to their body and if it makes them feel pretty, they should do it. You'll find that self-esteem needs to come first sometimes.

    Well, let's see.

    BTW interesting questions.

Um...breast size does not matter to me in any way shape or form. But if I did have a choice, I would prefer if she didn't have OMG LOOK AT THOSE BEWBS kinda size. Cause I've learned that woman with that size have back pain, and are more feminine. Me no like that.

Breast surgery, to me is kinda like saying "Get your breasts bigger so you can love yourself, and have other people love you too!". Besides, doesn't it feel weird to have that kind of thing done to you? But I guess it's here for a reason. Think about it, if so many are doing this, what are some people saying about these people or their self-coincidence about themselves that they would do this?

    Must be pretty distressing.

But still, in the end I hate any woman who would do that without a medicinal reason. It's just...stupid, like racism.

I really don't care about the size, though getting implants is a horrible idea since no guy will really love them. But as for breast reduction, it's fine if it's to stop back pain, but if it's for a stupid reason like to get back at someone, then you just look silly.

Breast Surgery? Not really a big fan. It gives females a false sense of beauty. Females should be content with what they already have, and not seek of ways that lead to false beauty.

My ideal breast size? I don't really care, as long as a person's natural beauty is reflected on the outside.

I don't really have a preference. A reasonably large bosom is just as delicious as a flat chest.

As for surgery, don't give me any crap about "false beauty." What a woman does with her body is her own business; if she wants larger breasts, let her have them.

    So politically correct >_<
Personally, my gf has DD which is weird because they're natural and shes also really skinny. I wont complain though. I love her exactly the way she is.
    Theres an old saying that Ive always found really funny, I dont know if anyone will have heard it before but it goes like this;

Any more than a handful is a waste.

Well I would like a woman with D-Cup. wont say any more because that felt so awkward to type ;x

Just the average size is fine with me. I actually get a bit turned off if their size is too big (anime and IRL) an they're just flaunting it. There's more to a girl than just her body, after all.

It really depends on the situation. If you're doing it just to do it because you want guys/girls to like you, it's a bad idea. If they can't like you for who you are, then you have no reason to be hanging around them at all. But if you're getting a reduction (as someone mentioned earlier) due to back pain, OR enlargement because you had your breasts removed due to cancer, then I agree with it. BUT there has to be some kind of LEGAL medical reason to do it, not just because you think it'll impress people.

I have no preference. But like Fabio said, if they're so big that it seems unnatural then it's just scary. If I absolutely had to pick my ideal then I'd say B.
The sort of breast surgery we see in the media (aka. Katie Price) is pointless, but if it's a situation like Kura said then I don't see any problem with it. But it's totally not my place to tell people they shouldn't do it. It may be something I don't agree with, but that doesn't mean I can tell people that it's unacceptable. There's no reason to not use the technology we have available to us if we want to, especially in situations like this where it doesn't have any sort of impact on anybody else. It's their body, let them do what they want. It's easy for people to say "they should be content with what they've got and not give themselves a false sense of beauty" but I'm sure a mother of 4 that's had her breasts replaced with something that looks like a sock with a tennis ball in it wouldn't think of it the same way.

Edit: In response to your edit, Kura, it would really depend. I'm not one who takes minor imperfections with the body very seriously, I'd care if breasts were so saggy that they look like they belong to a 50 year old. If they were uneven then it would depend on how uneven, if one's clearly a lot bigger than the other then I would care about it. I'd only be bothered by it if it was definitely noticeable and clearly not quite 'normal', I wouldn't judge anyone for such things but it's hard not to be affected by it when it's so noticeable that there's clearly something wrong. But these things aren't within anybody's control, it's just how our bodies turn out and some people are more unfortunate than others.

When I said I think it's pointless originally, I mean if girls get it when there's nothing wrong with their breasts at all, it's just to pump them up to be the size of basketballs. But even if I think it's pointless, it doesn't mean it's wrong. There's a lot more pressure on females to appear a certain way than there is for males. If someone's seriously unhappy with their body then they should be allowed to alter it in any way they wish.

If my girlfriend wanted to alter her body, I would first of all try and convince her not to because she's beautiful just the way she is. If she was really unhappy then I would support her in any decisions she wanted to make, whether I thought they were necessary or not. The only thing I would strongly oppose is if she wanted to get a huge rack, but I don't really see that happening anyway... xD

Like others had said, if it's very huge compared to the rest of their body that's just... awkward. 3= But anyways average is fine, in my opinion. Although I don't think it really matters? :x

It's not just the media though, it's even comments from your own boyfriend. My esteem was slaughtered because of my small size and I felt like I couldn't look good for him because I was tiny and didn't have that body he wanted me to have. I heard eating bananas helps, but I digress.

As a woman, what do you secretly wish your cup size would be/ do you like your body the way it is now?
I used to at least want to be a B, but I've come to terms with the fact I am done growing. Besides, I don't want them to be all a guy sees in me. So I'm okay with them not being the most noticeable things in the world.

OR as a heterosexual/bisexual/pansexual man, when you imagine your "perfect" woman, what do you picture her breast size to be? Do breast sizes really matter to you?
I don't care and no they don't. Call me cliche, but if you really love the girl, it should never matter.

What is really your opinion on Breast surgery? Does it give women (who have nursed, for example) their femininity back? Or does it give them a false sense of beauty?
lol. That is all. They shouldn't need to have surgery, unless all that stuff just screwed them over and hey, I can't argue with them if it makes them happier. As long as they're not weird about it like girls from Rock of Love.

And for the girls: Would you ever consider getting breast surgery?
    No.

I'd say my ideal is probably D-cup (apparently the average for the UK is 32D anyway IRC), I like curves in a woman. Never thought I'd be typing that on Pokécommunity but still.

As for Breast Surgery, if a woman wants bigger/smaller boobs she should be allowed to do so. If a girl has a flat chest and wants to appear more "womanly" no-one has the right to deny her that. Likewise, a girl with boobs big enough to cause back trouble should be allowed to have them reduced if she so desires.

That's funny that the average size in the UK is 32D. I'm a natural 30DD and I find it EXTREMELY difficult to find bras to the point that I sometimes wish I could get surgery just to buy a bra.

Over here in North America they don't make 32DD or 30D or anything with a small waist size with a large cup size unless it's a European import and I have to pay $60 or more.
I've been to the UK and 32D/30DD/ or sizes like 30G are quite common. :/ It's sad. And it's tough for me as a girl.

I have to try on 50 bras just to go home with 1 or 2 bland ugly ones.. but all the other girls get to pick nice ones with cute patterns and stuff.. it end up being a process I hate instead of being able to embrace my body.. because I just don't end up feeling like "the norm." I feel out of place.

Boobs are nice. I'll admit I'll turn and look if I see a woman with an impressive rack, but in the end they're just boobs. When you think about it, it almost seems silly how much stock we put into them.

As for myself, I don't really care what size a girl has. If a girl I care about is happy with her breast size, then I'm happy, too. Whether her being happy means her getting breast reduction to relieve back pain, maybe even getting breast enhancement to ease her fears, or staying with her natural body. If she's happy with it, I am, too.

But on the subject of plastic surgery, it's a shame how many women are pressured into getting it, whether by friends, media, families, etc. I have no right to say a women shouldn't get it, but I wish those women with the crippling low self esteem knew that they didn't need the surgery to look beautiful. They're beautiful just the way they are, surgery or no surgery.

    I'm satisfied with my B-cups. :]

In my opinion, fake surgery-enhanced breasts give people the attention they crave, but the wrong kind. As mentioned before, and as cliche as it sounds, if you are attracted to someone only because of their boobs then you're missing out on a lot. Looks in general shouldn't configure your attractiveness, but should compliment the other aspects of you, like your personality.

Needless to say, I wouldn't get surgery for that reason. Not to mention it costs a hell of a lot of money.

Hahha, when I saw the name of the thread, I just had to go and check it out.
Btw, I voted for D although B & C would do fine as well ;)

Actually, I don't have a clue what the marks for the sizes matter, I was just comparing the descriptions with each other. After thinking for a while, I'd have likely chosen C.
