Just out of curiosity, why today and not on Halloween proper?

It's always been the Friday before Halloween, that's just how the city decided a date for trick-or-treating.

I'm at the age now where my parents pretty much leave me to my own devices, which I am fortunate for. They will nag me from time to time, but it's not nearly as bad as it was when I was younger.

How old are your parents anyway? Over 120?

It kinda sucks when Halloween falls on a weekend because my college campus is dead:/

I actually like it when there's only a few people in the call. A) I can keep up with the convo and B) My Skype doesn't lag like crazy ^^

I never have liked Skype. It just seems like a pain, and I've always had technical troubles when I've tried to use it. Plus I don't really need it - I have MSN when I just want to talk to people, and XBL or Steam chat when I'm playing games online.

I rarely use Skype anymore, only to talk with my relatives in the US. Also, I haven't been using MSN either these days, since I am using my BlackBerry service all the time.

I don't do much IM/chat at all. I may need to fix that once I get a computer capable of running chat software without crashing every five minutes.
