how can something squishy and white and green and awesome /not/ be liked? I mean, it sealed the deal for me that B/W Pokemon were awesome...and it was the first one I saw.

Magikarp is the best what are all of you talking about

He can kill Arceus by saying "You shall die-SPLASH ATTACK"

And he is the only reason why Splash is so weak, it used to be so powerful it trumped even a Chuck Norris Roundhouse kick. It had 1,000,000,000,000 BP and it's effect way the foe's team dies. And so Arceus made Splash weak cause he was afraid of such a powerful Pokemon

I think you just single handedly killed any comedy left in that horrible "joke". I'm being so generous with the word "joke" right now.

I find the best Pokemon "comedy" to be the result of nicknames or combining Pokemon references with some other thing.

Like Pokemon and a classic (?) joke:

Q: Why did the Shellder cross the Road ?
A: Because it was attached to a Slowpoke.

Fan art can be funny. As can those 'animated' images such as the James Bond Pokemon TCG-Poker or the Seaking stuff. And the Short Shorts is one of the better moments ever that has nothing to do with Joey the Rattata or Joey and his Rattata.
