I've never actually been to New Jersey, but I have a friend who does nothing but talk about how she wants to live there.
Personally I think she's crazy judging by all of the things I've heard about it.

I live in New Jersey when I'm not at college...south jersey is bad, really bad. Camden is one of the worst cities in the nation, I think Detroit is worse than it in the rankings this year but it never drops below top 5. North Jersey I've heard is nice though.

But in reality Jersey doesn't have its own culture lol. South Jersey people are Philadelphians, and North Jersey people are New Yorkers.

I've been to new Jersey once. I don't remember it being horrible, but I don't recall anything particularly wonderful about it either.

I was there for an event in the Somerset/North Brunswick area, which is kinda close to the NYC metro area. Close enough so most everything's pretty much urban.

I'd still rather go to Jersey than Hoenn, though :P

And I'm here sitting, thinking about how little I know about American things. :(

Just came back from the Hunger Games premiere and was liek "Conformist ending for Hunger Games? Was hoping for a revolutionary call to action mang."

The more you guys talk about The Hunger Games, my interest in that gets higher and higher.

Just as well, as even browsing IE blogs will get you that :P

The hype makes me have zero interest. Mostly cause the people that hype it are the kind of people that wouldn't share my interests, so I kinda doubt it's for me. I'll stick to my Battle Royale. ;x

Maybe I'm just more hipster than I think!

Eh, no, you're not alone. The more threads I see/posts I see the more I wish I could filter out anything on the forum containing "The Hunger Games." x]
I can't stand when certain things get over-hyped.

I don't know what it is, but it sounds like an eating contest.

I got an iPod and was going to play some nice games on it but all I can find are Facebook-style games that are like "you can only play X many times then you have to buy things with rl money! Get some neighbors! Play with people!" I just want a single-player game I can play when I don't have internet on it but I can't find any. ;____;

I agree, and in this case in particular since I've read the books and don't think they're all that exceptional. I've already agreed to see the movie with friends on Sunday, but I kinda don't want to now.

Meh, I wasn't really impressed by it. It's a clearly overhyped book. The first half was good, but towards the end, it turned into a Twilight clone. Too much kissing and stuff at the end lol.

Out of curiosity, who would want to see a Russian getting scared by Amnesia?

I love The Hunger Games. The books were really good, so I hope the movie is as well. Seeing it on Monday. Id like to re read the book some before seeing it, just because I love the book and want to remember everything.
