She just laughs at me! I find it funny yet also a little awkward! I just want to know what's so funny! She really annoys me though. And I know she'll just laugh at me tomorrow too!

As for the program thing... I honestly didn't care that my name wasn't there. My name was on the program for hip-hop anyway. 4 of us did other dances so we really didn't care. But the other 3 girls were upset. And their mother's complained. My mom was the one who showed me in the first place and I thought it was kinda funny really. But I guess I see why they were mad. It's their only class and their names weren't listed. So right before we went on they announced us! It was kinda emarassing! My name was last so the last thing I heard before I went on stage was my name! But at least I know to expect that for tomorrow... since my family is actually going to be in the audience tomorrow!
 
I actually can't stand it when I'm mentioned by name in programs at awards cerimonies and stuff at my school...when I realize that my name's on the paper I have this huge urge to go around to every chair and rip the papers up...it's painful enough to be called before a huge gathering of people, but my name in the program sort of adds insult to injury...I suppose it's because I'm really shy and I don't like to be recognized or put above anyone else...I'd rather just sit back and watch other people who want to be recognized get recognized...
 
I'm usually like that too. But I like being in the paper and stuff like that... it makes me feel special. In 6th grade we did an Egyptian fair and my friends and I did fashion. We dressed up and everything! And we got on the first page of our town's paper! And it was in color! It was so cool! I have been in the paper other times, but that's the one I remember most!

I don't really care whether or not I get recognized. I like to just be in the background... I don't usually like attention. But for some reason when I dance I become really outgoing! It's weird kinda! When I'm with my dance friends I talk a lot and have a lot of fun! My name being announced over the loudspeakers wasn't necessary though! I didn't to hear my name out loud like that... although, it was pretty cool! At the finale my teacher came up to me and my friend and apologized and hugged us... but I didn't see it as a big deal! But oh well!
 
I've been on the front page of the paper (in color too! like you) before...it was for a school supply drive for african children that my biology class put together. I didn't stop hearing "I saw you in the paper!" for weeks, which made me feel a little strange...even when I'm in the paper for things like my history awards and academic team events and things like that, I groan when I see myself. Another thing that makes me angry is when they misspell my name, which they do more often than not. My name is Alan but it usually gets spelled Allen in the newspaper, and even on a lot of certificates I get from my own school...my last name is rarely ever spelled right either which is pretty frustrating. I don't think anyone outside my family knows how to spell my name, and the newspaper doesn't help the problem any -_-;;

The last name always gets more attention. I had to present something once and my friend had to read the names. Since my name was last he made a big deal of it by adding "and last" before my name.

So does it mean after the recital, you get to go here earlier than before?
 
My name doesn't get spelled wrong... it's not that hard. People do tend to spell Ashley wrong... but I'm not sure why. But in papers and stuff it's alway right. My poor sister always gets her name spelled wrong. Her name is Kellie... but everyone wants to spell it Kelly. My mom had to be picky and spell it with an ie at the end instead of a y. I think it's pretty and all but everyone spells it wrong. She gets really frustrated at that too. As for the newspaper thing... another time I was in it was for my girl scout silver award. I was in 8th grade and I hated girl scouts and I didn't want anyone to know I was still in it. I tried to avoid all pictures... but unfortuantly this one got put in the paper... but it wasn't on the cover I don't think! Anyways, one day in Spanish class the guy that sat in front of me turned around and he congratualted me. I was so embarassed. Luckily he was the only one who said something...

Laugh at her? I have! I try and then she'll just laugh at me more! It's like an ongoing war between me and this 10 year old! It really is fun though. But it is really annoying! I'm really curious as to what started this whole thing... but my sister keeps saying she didn't say anthing to her friend about me. But for some reason I don't believe her! As of today I have 3 of her friends that decided they like to annoy me...

Oh, and thanks. I'm pretty sure we'll all do fine tomorrow since today went pretty well! Tomorrow's show sold out within a week so there'll be a lot of people there! My family is going tomorrow too. It should be fun though! And I get to cover myself in glitter again! That's always fun! I had so much glitter on me today!

Which reminds me of another newspaper picture... dance! For dance certain classes take group pictures that get put in the paper as an ad. My sister class has been the ad for the past few years due to the fact she has Michael in her class... and the founder's grand daughter! My class has been in one before too I think. I know I'm in next year's ad too. And they are always in color...

I can be on earlier than before? Well I should be on a lot more due to the fact school is almost over! And I won't have to worry about dance every night either. I think I'm dancing in July though. But I will have to work over the summer so those days I won't be around until later...

Wow. There was some girl in 5th grade that kept giving me those cold stare like she wanted to kill me or something. Ohh that was intimidating. :P Luckily I don't see her in middle school.

Hmm, how long are you dancing in the summer anyways. If it was around 3 hours, you'd still have plenty of time.
I won't be here from June 25-whenever my summer school starts because homework is the only excuse for me being here.
 
I don't really know if I'm still dancing in July or not... the teacher that was supposed to teach it was the one who got fired. I don't think it'll be long if it is still going to be there. It's just for a few weeks in July, and a couple of days a week... nothing big. I think the classes are only a couple hours long. And they're just for fun. My mom wants me to do it cuz she doesn't want me to be lazy.

And I don't think being in an ad for my dance school in the paper is a big deal. I have done it before... but I don't remember which ones of my classes were ads. My sister gets in them every year... including this year I think. I know both her classes took group shots so I'm pretty sure she'll be in the paper... again. My class' group shot looks awful though. I don't even think I'm visible! It was a mess. So maybe we won't be in the paper after all!

To me being in the newspaper is cool. I've never seen my name or picture anywhere but at home.

YES! Both of my parents are away to a wedding ceremony so I might be on late today. Also I don't have to worry about them catching me in PC.
 
I am so lazy... and I know it. I mean, I just sit in my room on the computer whenever I'm home... like right now for instance! The only activities I do are dance and now I work. But before I started working all I did was dance! I spend so much time inside just sitting at the computer. And last year before I started coming online all the time all I would do was watch tv. I really need to start getting outside more. I hate that my mom thinks I'm lazy... even if it is true!

I'm up late every night. Unless I'm really tired for some reason... which I'm not today. I should be, but I'm not. Tomorrow I'll probably be really tired though. But today I'm not! So I'll most likely be online late tonight...

Well uhh...you're more active than me atleast.
All I do is play sports and post in PC today. I have no idea how I'm suppose to work. I don't even sweep the floor corectly. :P My cousins call me a sitting duck. XD
Before I kept coming to PC all the time, all I'd do is sleep and roam around the house....boring.

Cool! You'll be on late today also.
Wow, half a page of repetitive talking between us. This isn't the first time I've seen it. :P
 
Hey, guys, what's up? What have I missed? I haven't been on at all today or yesterday. The last time I was on the computer was Thursday. ^_^;;; I missed being on here, but I was busy with re-starting Pok?mon Colosseum, watching movies, and shopping with my family at Sears to get a new washer since our last one broke down. :\
 
Sorry to stray off topic (was there topic? I just "tuned in"). I just passed my Bronze Cross (life saving) course. Just a couple more courses to go until I can become a lifeguard and/or swimming instructor. Which is great because it pays well (I can't remember what it is) and it has short hours. That being a great parttime job. The exam was four hours long, but we were only marked on the last two hours.

LM- Well, I would tell you what you've missed, but I haven't posted in DCC in quite a while. =X

Well, although I don't think it will be that great, I am going to see Garfield tomorrow (mainly because my mom wants to see it). I do think that some parts of the movie looks funny, but...meh, it just doesn't look extremely good by my standards.

Anyway, I think I'm seeing Garfield and Harry Potter and the PoA (again for some reason, even though I didn't really like it) tomorrow too. It depends if I tell my mom how much homework I have.

Lol...lifeguard of Lake Hylia :P Now that's a job I'd hold any day...the sad thing is that the area around there is pretty desolate...I'd have the scientist and the fishing game guy to keep me company, and that's all...I wouldn't dare go near that scarecrow, he freaks me out :P
