With my team on Ruby, I only used Rare Candy on 3 of them, and only when they reached about level 92. Still, that's pretty good. I have more hours on Crystal than on Ruby. On Ruby, I have almost 400 (Like 348), Sapphire (Like 79), Crystal (440 or so), Silver (360 or so), and Yellow (just started new game, so only 5 minutes. Otherwise, about 100). I must be addicted to video games. :P

Ya, I don't think I can take that much. x_x;
 
... actually it's a lot more effective for the advanced gameboy games to use rare candy... it's actually BETTER than normal training by a lot. (due to EVs and stuff... i'll save that for the game section to talka bout them ;p)
 
Thank you frosty. XD I always get so confused when we stray into talking about that advanced... stuff. o_O;; Heh.. I should really educate myself in that field, so at least I have some idea of what's what. X3;
 
the guide in my link does have a section about how to train and what's the better method... so... go click on it people if you want to know mroe about it *starts advertising his thread* XD

I never played RBY... I started right on GS... yes yes I'm slow in everything... =/

I started right on g/s/c too. I was never able to get a Game Boy Color until when they came out. I never got a r/b/y game until a year later. I did play Red or Blue once in elementary school though that a friend of mine had. It was all confusing to me. I had no clue what I was suppose to do, lol. Now I know tons about all the Pokemon games. I laugh when I look back at those days. :P
 
I started with yellow back in 6th grade. But before I started playing pokemon games I watched my cousins play and it confused me so much! They also had me playing the TCG with them and I was so lost. But me being confused is what made me want to learn more about it and get the games myself. I haven't played any GBA games in a while though... maybe I should sometime. It's been at least a month since I've picked it up... I wonder where it is...

Aww... well they're really fun. I only got to play them on ROMs, which is even better then GB anyway, as you know.

I waited every day for RB to come out, I went up to the store every day and waited at the counter? *_* It was so much fun to play them! *sigh* Such a warm feeling in my heart.
 
Don't feel bad Andy... I obviously don't have a life either! I've been here all day! Except for the hour and a half it took to go to church and eat dinner. I had nothing else to do today and it was a little cold outside. At least compared to yesterday. So I've been online since about 11 this morning and it's now... 12:17am... and I'm not even tired yet so I'll be on longer...

Don't you mean 12:50 PM ? :P I woke up at 5:30 AM this morning and I couldn't fall asleep again, so I started playing Pokemon Ruby. About an hour later I finally went back to sleep though. XD

Oops, I guess I'm really tired. I was thinking that 12 PM was midnight. I guess I should go to bed soon. :P It's 11 PM here now. Soon it will be midnight; 12 AM.
