Does it have an option? I mean I don't really see advertising besides the area between the main links and the actual thread and between the bottom of the thread and quick reply.
 
Hmm Link to the Warning Usernote idea is pretty well
But then that's just a big sized notification then..
 
The advertisements could just be doubled on the bottom if that was possible... -still doesn't like that idea-

You don't need to remove or move the adverts. The notice can appear above the breadcrumb bar if need be.
And Staffs have to write details when they warn right? So Usernotes are 100% perfect~

My warning was just an example, it could be the usernote itself. Perhaps it could stay visible until the user clicked the 'read rules' link. The link could be an anchor to the exact rule they broke for reference.

No, I didnt say that, but I guess..... I said that maybe thats why they enjoy it so much, becauce at times its funny. ^_^

But you have to remember that they're also human as well... xD Unless they've all been secretly modified for modding purposes.
 
In a way I loved replying to some people requesting name changes but didn't read the rules. I was flat out rude to them, and I liked it even better when they would go "I've been wanting ... days and I'm sick of waiting.". I kind of miss it. XD
 
You can still be rude to them, it's not like the total n00b race has died out. XD
 
I wonder why Name Change rules had changed to 4 months..
 
Because the staff got sick of the continual complaints of "I want a name change"... ? That'd be a likely reason... and because of that, they didn't take away the whole option, they just lowered it.

I think it's also because of that little extra thing in profiles that state name changes... maybe that add on only allows every four months? I don't know, I'm just assuming.

Hmm I think VB Plaza will be a great help but there will be spammy posts and will make people confused who is who xD

I dunno..
 
There are spammy posts anyway... and people still get confused about members... I'm talking about most sections in general though.
 
I don't really go to that section so I'm not sure~
 
I don't really visit many sections unless I'm checking the new threads there, otherwise it's pretty much all new posts. Oh, and usercp, that's just because it's easy to access though.
 
User CP sometimes take me over 30 minutes xD
